Nothing short of amazing. Malvern is lucky a chef of this caliber has a passion for BBQ. The brisket melts in your mouth. Also when they make beignets? Mmmm.

BEST BRISKET PERIOD. If you’re lucky enough to catch them before they sell out, you’re in for a real treat! They’re home base is in the Sunoco station but sometimes you’ll see them with the smoker in the parking lot.

I’m hesitant to even review Farm Boy Fresh because at a certain point they will be discovered by diners, dives and drive ins and then the line will be out the door and down the street. Simply put, this is the best damn BBQ I’ve had in Philly. The brisket is tender juicy Texas/Tennessee style meaning it allows the true flavor of the meat to shine through without much added vinegar (like in Carolina styles). The same can be said for the pulled pork. I’m gonna have to go back to try the other offerings although it’s gonna be hard not to order the brisket sandwich every time. Check out the owner’s rig out back. He spends all night smoking and you can taste the patience in every bite.

Who said you have to go south for the best barbecue this chef knows what he’s doing …the poboy, the meat ….everything here is high quality. one might think it’s a bit pricey but it’s worth spending the extra two bucks to get good quality barbecue that doesn’t exist in the Northeast..
