It took the staff 25 minutes to get our food out as a party of 3 had ordered just before us.
The sausage burrito was super simple, like presented on the menu.
The avocado toast was a disappointment. I didn’t have dinner and had already been up for hours thinking about breakfast. For someone so hungry, finally getting food should’ve been more of a relief. Imagine my surprise when I instead tasted a mouthful of soap. I have the cilantro gene and was not expecting the micro greens to be completely cilantro. I had to take them off, only to find that the rest was bland. It was missing the balsamic glaze drizzle that the menu listed. Much of the bread was dry and thickly spongy. Although it was pretty together, it didn’t taste good.
This place is not for people with a sweet tooth or in a rush. If you have time to sit down, it’s nice with lots of space, just be careful what you order. Also, mind that each main menu food item costs $13.50.
Ordered the bacon breakfast burrito if you could call it that. The tortilla was gummy. Drink was the Horchata Latte it was gross. Tasted off, cause how ever they sweetened it just didn’t pair well.
But this place is just that looks.
The coffee and the food left no impression. The only impression was lacking taste. No flavors either.
Also the kids working there are just that, kids one had a personality well the other had none.
But the one with personality was making coffee.
Would have got better service at Dunkin. At lease at Dunkin I would get greeted. Cause as a customer acknowledgment of existence for an exchange of goods and services is what you come to expect. Not to have some off played staring contest.
-The latte art is nice, but any coffee shop has people that can do latte art.
Avoid this place if you like interaction from staff to place an order.
Definitely a great place to settle in with a laptop or a book for awhile.
Standard selection of espresso drinks and some specialty drinks and I got the campfire iced coffee (technically a mocha?) that has graham syrup and house-made marshmallow mocha sauce. Like another reviewer said, it is on the sweet side, but that’s what I was expecting and was very happy with it. It’s not overly sweet.
The choice of milk, at least for that day, was standard milk, full cream, oat, almond and coconut.
Food-wise, they have more hearty stuff like breakfast and lunch sandwiches and lighter snacks/baked goods like muffins, cookies and scones.
They also have bags of coffee beans and merchandise on sale too.
In house baked sourdough
The sauce and spread for the sandwiches were amazing
Lattes were excellent
Service was lovely
Inside is cute and spacious
Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town.
