Terrible customer service, went there today at 12am, and the short girl with orange hair took my order. She barely put rice, all proportions were off. I asked for a little extra sauce and she splashed a whole tub of it, look like she didn’t even wanna be there. Food is always good but service is terrible get workers that actually care. There’s always one guy i always look forward to seeing and it’s the guy with the beard and glasses he’s always smiling and being nice and kind and double asking whether I would like something on my food. I had an amazing experience at Guac Time in Jersey City! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served with great presentation. The bowl I ordered was delicious and definitely exceeded my expectations.
A special shoutout to Shri, one of the employees, who made my visit even better. She was very welcoming, attentive, and served the food with so much care and kindness. Her great customer service truly stood out and made my dining experience excellent.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty food and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

So let me start by shouting out GIGI Lupna and zee. They are such an amazing staff. They know me very well as a loyal customer. The food is great an upgraded version of chipotle.
The first time I came here I was very impressed. The prices are very reasonable and it tastes so good. This is about the 75th time I’ve been here lol … they also have a rewards point system so I have gotten many discounts.. I love this place.

My partner and I order from this restaurant all the time, and the food is always hot, delicious, and generously portioned. Today, I ordered two entrées and a side through DoorDash, but the delivery driver accidentally left without the second entrée before I even received my food.
Management called me directly to explain what happened and immediately offered to personally deliver the missing entrée which they did. I truly appreciate the staff and management for consistently going above and beyond, whether I’m dining in or ordering online from this location.

Tried their soft tacos for lunch on a Monday (yes, they are open Mondays!) and was impressed by the quality! Fresh ingredients (I had grilled chicken), friendly service and a nice choice of beverages (I’m a sucker for all things blueberry so I tried that soda–it was delish). Overall, it was a satisfying lunch: filling and tasty. I dinged it a star because of the cost. $13 for three soft tacos in this neighborhood may not last, particularly when there is a cheap taco joint down the block. Guac Time is certainly cleaner, has better service and a much larger space than the hole in the wall competitor down the block, but it never doesn’t hurt paying $18 for lunch (tacos, plus soda, plus taxes). That said, there’s another plus: Guac Time is definitely the healthiest choice for lunch compared to the greasy tacos and similarly overpriced new burger joint nearby.

I used to be a loyal patron of this place, but but yesterday’s experience was infuriating. Despite my clear request for extra basic vegetables, the staff member was stingy and responded with a loud, disrespectful tone and dirty looks. While the owner is welcoming and the food has always been enjoyable, the staff’s rudeness and lack of basic etiquette have ruined this spot for me. It’s disheartening to lose a favorite place due to such unprofessional behavior.
