On Friday & weekend they close at 10pm
Instead of 9.30 .
They have spicy and different levels of spice for certain items on the menu ( like phó).

Except for last time I went multiple of their dishes tasted off/weird to most people in our group.

Absolutely loved my experience at Ly’s Kitchen! It’s hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in years. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of delicious options that cater to every taste. Each dish I tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better. If you’re a fan of Chinese cuisine, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommend! Delivery is offered on their official website!

I was very disappointed by the service. While the taste was normal, their attitude towards customers is unacceptable. Instead of letting us pay normally, they added a gratuity to the bill beforehand and just handed us a piece of paper to sign. We never consented to this. (We always pay Tips.) It feels like they are profiling customers based on the location/demographic and assuming we won’t pay a tip. This behavior is rude, and I won’t be coming back.

The food was very fresh and the service was great. They do not skimp on the meat like other Chinese places. We also tried their buffet on Wednesday night on a separate occasion and it was also very good. I highly recommend this place as this is the best Halal Chinese Restaurant in Houston.

first time coming here, ordered the orange chicken lunch special that came with soup and an egg roll. the egg drop soup was fresh and very delicious, along with the fried rice. the orange chicken was very tender and had amazing flavor, all of the food was very fresh and honestly the best Chinese food i’ve had in a very long time. the service was great, the staff are very friendly and attentive. i would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a new spot.

Oh my goodness! To have a halal Chinese buffet in Houston again?? It was a joy!! The halal food options were wonderful!! 3 chicken dishes, 1 beef item, rice, noodles, dumplings, and 3-5 appetizers with 2/3 dessert options! I mean what more can you ask for? Really nicely priced and very speedy, kind, professional customer service. I ate with a group of friends (8) and it was a really pleasant experience. The desi crowd is tough to please and we’re lowkey hovering over the dishes waiting for the dishes to be refilled in such a busy hour which they should have common sense to go sit and eat instead of eating while hovering over the almost empty trays waiting for them to be filled again. I will be back!!! 10/10

First-time customer at this place; ordered pickup ($51, tipped 10%). I walked in and was greeted by two friendly young men, and I only waited a minute to get my order. However, when I got home, I saw that the walnuts on my “Candied Walnut Shrimp” were charred! Why would you serve that? Also, the sauce tasted just like straight mayonnaise (wouldn’t recommend). But, the broth for my Pho was actually delicious.
That said, I was disappointed that my order didn’t include any condiments—none at all; no hoisin, soy, or chili sauce—just a bag of bean sprouts and basil.
Maybe it was just a bad night. Still, I won’t be coming back to this restaurant.
