This is not a restaurant. It is a basement apartment where someone is operating food business out of. It is not even in operation. I deliver with door dash & this “restaurant” never answered the phone nor answered the door for the food to be picked up. I called over 5 times with no answer then decided to call door dash. I ended up unassigned the order because no solution was being brought to me so I used my gas to pick up an order to get paid for it & didn’t because this “restaurant” wants to scam people in thinking they are operating when they are in fact, not.

I don’t get the hype. If you’ve ever had homemade Alfredo sauce, you know the difference from jar sauce and homemade. This is jar Alfredo mixed in penne noodles, shrimp and topped with lobster and heavily sprinkled with old bay and a side of corn. I am not impressed. I could’ve made this at home. I may have felt differently if this sauce was homemade. Jar sauce is so nasty to me.

The food was good very tasty and hot. Lol side note I noticed everybody who left a bad review has bad reviews on a couple of other restaurant’s. Maybe it’s not the food it’s you taste buds.

Late night? Fresh? Bang for your buck? Things I never expect to go together and they hit all 3. Best 1:30am meal I’ve ordered. Best seafood soul food Alfredo platter I’ve had also (and I’ve tried a few ig chefs that do this DMV concept). Normally the Alfredo sauce is bland and flavorless with old bay being used like paprika for appearance (took my seasonings out automatically when it came) but the sauce was actually flavorful. I didn’t need to add anything. Shrimp, crab and lobster always high quality, despite the low prices. I’m shook and shocked. I’d given up on good late night eats and had given up on the crab with pasta soul food concept because it didn’t seem like the match was hitting, compared to a boil or just an Alfredo. This made me a believer

Tasty, well seasoned and deliciously savory. Higgs Kitchen is a hidden gem. The food is great, the portions are generous and the prices are excellent. I am hoping to see the menu expanded so we can get more of this tasty goodness.

pasta sauce was tasteless, meat was tough, full of sinews, unseasoned and tasteless, fish was unseasoned and tasteless. There’s just a small bit of old-bay sprinkled over everything after it’s cooked.
