Very cute coffee shop with many different flavors and coffee options. Their breakfast and lunch menu offers a good variety of sandwiches. Prices are decent.

Had the Bison Chili with the jalapeño biscuit and Iced Tea. The buscuit was very good, not too try, and broke apart well without a lot of crumbs. I enjoyed the chili, I though it had a more mild flavor, and was not really spicy, but it was well rounded and balanced.

The catchy named helped us choose over the other options in town. The cool name fits with the excellent service and coffee. I don’t normally get cold coffee but the barista recommended a special berry cold foam. I was hesitant, but glad I took her advice, it was very good, each so kept getting better. Gotta to my hat to the barista for the suggestion and for her friendliness. That covers did and service, next is atmosphere. I love seeing different seating options and the Wandering Buffalo offers several options including booths, tables, bar, and outdoor making it better than most, including the very welcoming comfy seats to sit and chat with friends. If I lived in the area I would likely be a regular. Thanks for treating us as locals even if we’re 1500 miles from home.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was great, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service. They accidentally messed up my order at first, but the staff handled it better than I could’ve ever expected. Without me even asking, they immediately took responsibility, let me keep the incorrect dish, and made the correct order for me completely free of charge. Now I have 2 favorites on the menu now!!

That level of care and dedication to making things right is rare these days, and it truly made my visit memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back—and recommending this place to everyone I know!

All most daily I find my way to this coffee shop to have a good cup of coffee and either breakfast or lunch. Today 3/22/21 the special was Rustic beef stew with beer bread this meal is up there with there Buffalo chili. If you have time to stop in grab a table all you need to do find parking near the only stop light in Hot Springs SD.

LOVED this place. I got a Hay Ride Latte from their fall menu and it was not too sweet which was great. I hate drinking a coffee and it tastes like straight syrup. And whoever made that breakfast burrito put their BACK into it. Great job to all the staff

Visited Hot Springs and stopped in for lunch. The staff are amazing! They are chipper and work fast to get orders filled. The Bison Chili is amazing. The wraps and sandwiches were very good. There were alot of flavor. I love the little gifts you can purchase while there. A great place to stop in.

Nothing to look at from outside and fairly Spartan inside – but more than adequate and spacious. My English Breakfast tea was excellent and in the USA that is a rare accolade. Luke warm gnats pee is the norm almost everywhere. However I had to ask for milk as there was none out or served with the tea. But milk was promptly supplied from the fridge with good humour so mustn’t grumble. Perhaps most Americans drink their tea black.
The coffee was good and so was the menu. The slightly stale cup cake was uninspiring but not unpleasant. I don’t expect much of American cup cakes so I was not disappointed. They are usually too sweet and artificial. Overall a pleasant stop and I would recommend to others.
