Cool spot with a good atmosphere and solid service. If you go, order the café de hoya and concha it was great. Skip the other coffees though, nothing to write home about.
Food situation is where it went downhill. All three of our plates came out cold, told the server and they just reheated everything instead of making it fresh. Already a little annoying, but then I found a hair in my plate after getting it back. That was it for me.
To his credit, the manager handled it really well took full accountability, comped everything, and offered anything on the menu free of charge. Super stand up move, just couldn’t bring myself to eat anything else at that point.
Has potential, and the manager was great. But cold food and a hair in a reheated plate is hard to get past. Might give it another shot eventually, but not for a while

10000/10 this place is sooo delicious and the decor is so beautiful! We had a concha and cafe de olla to start and they provided us with sopa de lentejas. The concha was so soft and warm. The main course was so good. Literally a must try spot. Our server Gabi was so sweet and attentive and the manager Fernando was also attentive with us and the restaurant.

I was so excited to try this place. Everything was going good until it wasn’t. The food came out cold and my eggs were overcooked. Our waitress kept forgetting to come back to the table. We asked for water and it took about 30 minutes, even after reminding her several times. We were also overcharged twice. At that point we were so annoyed that we just paid and left. I had planned to ask for a to go box so I could take the food home and give it to my dog . but she took so long to come back that we just gave up and asked for the bill.
The chilaquiles actually had good flavor, but they were cold. They probably would have been really good if they had been served warm. Unfortunately, because of the service and the issues with the bill, we won’t be coming back. They also charge a card fee, which was another disappointment.

Outstanding New Spot in Downtown Midland
Rachel and I decided to check out Don Quinto Bar & Grill and I’m glad we did. I usually avoid ordering fajitas anywhere around the Permian because I’m not a fan of how they’re typically seasoned—there’s often an odd taste that just doesn’t do it for me. But I decided to give them a shot here, and wow… easily some of the best fajitas I’ve had in a very long time. Perfectly seasoned and full of flavor.
The beans were great, the rice was on point, and the drinks were awesome—well made and refreshing. Everything came together for an overall excellent dining experience. Don Quinto is a fantastic addition to downtown Midland, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
