I have lived in the area for 20 years, and Phillies was a staple for delivery and sit-down dinners. But in the last few years, the service has truly gone down hill. When dining with multiple people, it wasn’t uncommon for some to get their meals 10 minutes after everyone else. Sometimes items were just forgotten, or simply wrong. The food is mostly ok, pizza has no complaints. I got food poisoning from an Alfredo pasta dish twice (over extended periods).
The last straw for us was when our credit card was charged a second time for the same visit months after it was charged on the initial visit. A normal business would have been able to see that we were double-charged and refunded one charge, but the Phillies owner fought tooth and nail refusing to see the issue, even when the bank agreed with us it was obvious. Also, the second charge was timed about 90 minutes after the closed (the initial charge was timed when we were eating). We never got refunded.
I think the decline is due to ownership change within the family, and it’s disappointing. Note that this is all probably a year old, as we have since boycotted them for an alternate place that is unfortunately a little further.

After calling & being put on hold for 4 mins I got hung up on , okay no problem so I went inside ordered 3 large pies 3 orders of garlic knots & 3 orders of zeppoles , I was told I’d receive a call once the order was finished no one called. I went back in & my order was just waiting on the top & the lady who said would call me was no where in sight . Spent over $100 for Burnt garlic knots , burnt zeppoles why would anyone serve something that is clearly burnt & not edible . Never again

Old time favorite..but wife’s chicken a little overcooked, and my rigatoni a little undercooked. But still edible, and tasty..enjoyed the free bread.

We went there as recommended by my mom for some good Italian food. We wanted to just sit in and have a nice meal. Their website stated that they close at 10pm. We arrived at 8:30pm. They told us they could seat us as they were closing in 30 mins. We said that theie website stated that they close at 10pm. They said they haven’t updated their website, yet. So, we ended up just ordering takeout. We ordered the Margarita Pizza and some Buffalo Wings. We waited almost 20 mins for the food. We ended up eating the pizza and wings in the car while on the way home. Everything cost us $44.55
The pizza wasn’t special, wood fired or not. It was actually just salty. The wings were just ok.
I don’t think I’d go back there. I found it pricey. I’d rather spend the money in my hometown. It would have been much better.

I tried their Osambuca for the first time,
Their Osambuca risotto is like a warm hug – creamy, comforting, and bursting with flavor.
Yhe veal, so tender it practically melts in your mouth, seasoned just right to make your taste .
And try their seafood pasta, with lobster tail, scallops, and shrimp, perfectly cooked and oh-so-satisfying.
Don’t forget to dig into their Caesar salad, a fresh and crunchy delight that completes the meal with its simplicity and charm.
At this hidden gem, it’s not just about the food – it’s about the memories it brings to life, one delicious bite at a time.

One of my favorite nostalgic pizza places to eat in Middle Village, Queens. Not far from Our Lady of Hope. Delicious food, amazing service and outdoor dining is one of my favorite summer days. ✊ I’ll come with Mark and Nicolleta when things get back to normal. See you soon.

The pizza was so good! Loved it! And we tried a few different types of pizza. We sat outside on the patio, had white sangria, & chatted. It was amazing!
Service was great also, everyone was so attentive.

I have a good experience here almost every time we go. The food is excellent, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is pretty chill. Parking has never been an issue as I always find a space. I could be lucky as we usually go in the evening. There is a pretty good menu selection to choose from. I love the Primavera pizza. For the price, it easily fills me up, and I still have some leftovers. This has become at least an every other week or in a pinch spot for my wife and me. This is a spot you can leave satisfied without breaking the bank.

I have come here a few times, and each time they were rude. My friend was bringing us our water and a guy said “Sweetheart, I’m only telling you this once, you are not allowed to bring drinks from outside places”. This was our personal water that was not even half full. After that, we ordered pizza and when we were going to sit down and the waiter said that we couldn’t sit there because it was “reserved”. We have been eating here for over an hour and the tables were completely empty. There were three of us, and he audacity to say pull up a chair at a two person table. Then, we see a group of people that ordered pizza just like us, and they are allowed to sit at those tables. While we were eating our pizza, I find a HAIR on my slice. I am disgusted and never coming back here again. I respectfully walked in and told the cashier that I just wanted to let them know that there was a hair on my slice. One of the cooks said to me that it’s probably my hair. There is no possible way that I could’ve cut a piece of my hair off and placed it under the sauce. He said that they all short hair and they all wear hats, yet I didn’t see him wearing a hat or a mask. I recommend not coming here nor will I ever be eating here.
