I’ve never eaten in a place with very limited dishes available. They only have 4 main dishes to choose from but I was truly satisfied with everything I ordered. I ordered Bun Bo Hue and Cha Gio and it only cost me around 400 plus service charge unlike dining in popular resto. This one is definitely refreshing and flavorful. Definitely going back.

Dropped by the Maginhawa branch of Năm năm 20 after previously visiting their Manila location. It’s a cozy Vietnamese spot that seats about 18 people indoors, with space for around 10 more outside in the al fresco area.

The menu is fairly concise but covers the essentials. We ordered Phó Bò, Gỏi Cuốn, and Chá Gíò. A bit disappointing that this branch doesn’t serve Bún Chả, though.

The food was impressive, everything tasted fresh, vibrant, and authentically prepared. The Phó Bò had a comforting, light yet flavorful broth. The Gỏi Cuốn was refreshing, and the Chá Gíò was delicious, especially with its strong garlicky vinegar dip that complemented it perfectly.

I still find the portions on the smaller side, though. Maybe I’m just spoiled from eating in Vietnam, where the same price gets you a heartier plate plus a generous pile of fresh herbs and greens.

Overall, Năm năm 20 remains a solid pick if you’re craving Vietnamese flavors in Quezon City. I just hope they expand the menu a bit, maybe add Bánh Mì soon. Delicious food, fresh ingredients, but expect smaller servings and a modest herb game.

Had high expectations since menu is limited. I always trust restaurants with limited menu, however I got a bit disappointed with this one. I guess the food was just okay. Serving is small. Ordered Bun Bo Hue, Fried Spring Roll and Fresh Spring Roll (I was not able to take a photo).

Bun Bo Hue was not it, though I enjoyed the soup. Disappointing that we only get beef bits, seems like sizes of corned beef already. Not what I was expecting. Not sure if because we dined in at 10 in the evening? I loveeeed Bun Bo Hue in Vietnam but this did not take us back.

I loved the fried spring roll! What I did not like was the fresh spring roll sauce. Not sure why it tasted a bit like bagoong. Not the usual peanuty sauce. Glad to have Nuoc Mam so that became my dipping sauce.

Service was good, and food was given to us fast ◡̈

Hearty Vietnamese food even on a very limited menu. Food is quick to get to your table despite having lots of people even during afternoon hours. Space is quite limited but quite worth the wait. The staff are very friendly. Price is reasonable.

Loved Bun Bo Hue and Fresh Spring Rolls the most. Vietnamese coffee is quite strong too.

Nam nam is great! One of our (family, with bf) go-to pho spots. They have a specialized menu (aka few offerings) but all are very good. Good ambience, place is comfortable (with the arts and the vibe), overall, it is always a nice eating experience!

Verdict: always babalikan

Definitely one of the underrated restaurants in maginhawa! Ordered almost the whole menu and was completely satisfied.

This restaurant is a good intro for the cuisine and can satisfy your cravings if you miss the exp.

This took me straight back to my days in Vietnam—slurping noodles and crunching away in the lively streets of Hanoi. One look at our empty plates, and you’ll know how good it was.

Service was great, we asked for extra greens and sauces for free. It is small yet homey, a proper atmosphere that will take you back in the country.

I ordered there Bun Bo Hue, Goi Cuon, and iced coffee. I loved the Bun Bo Hue. The broth was very tasty and savory. The peanut sauce for the Goi Cuon was also very tasty, however, I was not a personal fan of how chewy the rice paper was. The coffee was also very delicious.

I hope I can visit again.

A very good simple vietnamese restaurant in the maginhawa area, nam nam only has 4 items on their menu, 2 kinds of pho and 2 kinds of spring rolls. Food comes out very quickly, and is fairly priced. The serving size is decent enough for the price. Definitely a good place to have a simple meal!

Feels like in Vietnam vibe. Located in the Heart of Maginhawa. Price is reasonable. Food quality is great for the price. Opem from 11AM-10PM daily. You can see your food cook live. It has indoor and outdoor dining. Your need to use the stairs to go up here in the restaurant. So not advisable to seniors/persons with difficulty walking or going up stairs. A must try food if you love Vietnam food.
