My daughter is leaving for California in a few weeks, she lives in Michigan and wanted to take her Mama to dinner before she left and we both chose Crooked Lake Bar & Grill.
Neither of us have been there before, I told the owner it was a special dinner and she did something very special for us which is really appreciated, let’s just say the cheese cake is amazing!! We had Mozzarella cheese Triangles which were delicious a little pricy but were very good! We both ordered BBQ Burger which is made with a fresh burger patty not frozen, piled high with BBQ pork and thick bacon with a pretzel bun, wow!!! I think one of the top ten burgers I’ve ever had!!
Pub fries yes they were great, Brussel sprouts YUM!! They even were able to make me a virgin Pina Colada! I will for sure be back!! The atmosphere was very cozy, the waitress Stella, also did an amazing job and was very friendly!! Thank you for making our special night great!!

This is a special place! The food is delicious and all homemade. The servings are generous and low priced. Quality is excellent and they make everything from scratch and it shows! Drink was good and very reasonable priced. I will come here again when in the area!

Don’t let the outside fool you… This place has top quality food, and they are remodeling the inside so it will really be moderately upscale, suitable for this area. The menu offered a standard variety with several fish dishes, and burger varieties. I had a burger that was juicy and thick. It was so unlike those scrawny burgers that most of the fast food places are no serving. The service was spectacular!The music was comforting. Plenty of TVs. They’ll serve any drink you can think of. They also have pulled tabs for amusement and an ATM machine in case you need some cash. Downside is there’s only one restroom. Be sure to stop here. You won’t regret it.

We love Crooked Lake Bar and Grill!! It’s one of our favorite local places to eat. All the servers are friendly and give wonderful service. They have fun, seasonal cocktails. All of the food from the BBQ brisket to the burgers are always tasty. The pizza is also one of our favorites!

WHOEVER MAKES THE RANCH AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT DESERVES A RAISE!! Stopped in for a chicken sandwich and could not have been happier. 1.) When I first walked in I was impressed by the layout of the bar and dining room it was exceptionally clean. 2.) The staff greeted me within my first few steps and I was helped by the most beautiful blue eyed woman I have ever laid eyes on. 3.) I had my order placed in five minutes and had my food within 15 minutes. I will be coming back to eat this sandwich and ranch at least 10 more times. If you haven’t tried this place yet I feel sorry for you.

A group of six of us ate there on a Monday night and the food was delicious.
Everything from the cowboy steak to grilled Walleye was wonderful.
The bartender made delicious lemon drop and espresso martinis.
We enjoyed our server, Stella, and wish her well on her nursing career.

The wife and I were finally kid free and so we wanted to finally try some local restaurants being that we just moved to the area. We landed on this establishment between 2 other restaurants (my choice was here) we get to the place and find out there’s 2 different sides (that’s fine) we chose steakhouse side.
Environment and atmosphere was nice, quiet and definitely nice for what we were looking for. We order drinks and an appetizer, they were decent, no complaints. Was also order our entrée and also asked a few questions given there’s no description on their menus (QR code for a website.) They just have pictures, a price, and what the dish is called.
My wife orders the sirloin and I ordered the filet. Going off what information we have they seemed like great options. The sirloin was cooked to her perfection and tasted great! The filet, in the picture has a small steak and a lobster tail next to it… its only the 8oz steak… for $43. I should’ve ordered the 24oz porterhouse for $48 and been more satisfied with our evening.
After trying not to make a big deal about it I asked if there was something they’d be able to do about the price given that we assumed it came with both that were in the picture.
The waitress went and asked and came back and we seen they gave a 5$ discount… thanks for that discount, I guess.
We’ll be hard pressed if we come back. but all in all, food tasted delicious and staff was good service. But menu’s could definitely be revamped.

A friend and I drove by here and were intrigued enough that we decided to stop here for dinner after a long day at the lake. It was 7 PM on Wednesday, and there was a line to the door. There were many tables open but it still took 40 minutes to get seated. I ordered brisket and for some reason it was shredded instead of sliced, and the driest beef I have ever had. When I asked about it they told me it’s made every Wednesday, shredded, and placed in packages….which means I probably received week old brisket that had been frozen, and heated up in a frying pan. I was given a $10 discount, but at no point did I receive anything approaching an apology. The waitress visited our table a total of 3 times the whole visit. My bill for cheese curds, the worst brisket I’ve had in my life, and one glass of wine was $40. The length of this visit was 2 hours, and not by choice. A profoundly bad experience.
