This place is great. Daniel G, our server was awesome and super friendly to my kids. Definitely try their Short Rib Pasta, it was to die for. Oh, and their pizza was so delicious. I highly recommend this place. I will be coming back again and again and again and again Next time I’m going to try their barbecue.

I’ll start by saying this could have been an off night.

We were promptly greeted by a friendly and polite hostess as soon as we walked in and were seated right away. Shortly after, the hostess seated another table and began serving them drinks, then seated yet another table and served them as well. Just as we were getting ready to leave, our waitress finally came over.

We ordered drinks and the Southern Combo. The sides were the standout. The BBQ beans were excellent—smoky, warm, and not overly sweet. The coleslaw was creamy with a nice balance of vinegar.

The meats were tender but didn’t taste smoked. They weren’t very juicy or well-seasoned on their own, but Enzo’s Spicy BBQ sauce definitely helped and added much-needed flavor.

The cornbread was more like a corn cake and leaned more toward dessert than a traditional savory cornbread, which wasn’t quite our preference.

Overall, it’s a great atmosphere for watching sports and they have an impressive beer selection. Like I mentioned at the start, this may have just been an off night, and I’d be open to giving it another try.

I’m not a regular customer but I come here often enough to post how great this place is. As someone who routinely cooks his own barbecue, going out for dinner has to really impress me. Enzo’s has no problem with making the best food and pairing it with the right drinks. If you choose to carry out a dinner, it’s also a great option, just don’t expect any leftovers! Cheers!

The waitress working was lovely and kind. However, the food is disgusting and I only ate it because it was quite expensive. My brisket looked and tasted like it was cooked weeks ago and was reheated, it was VERY dry and tough.

Been coming here for years, even when they were just a small space next to GoGo Japan. The food is pretty good, especially the italian dishes. BBQ I think could improve a little bit, but considering our lack of options here in Oceanside, I’ll take what I can get. Cocktails and beers are great. Happy hour prices are good. Happy hour is 2-6pm every day, and 8-10 pm on Fri & Sat.

I just had an amazing experience at this barbecue restaurant! The ribs, pulled pork, and cornbread were absolutely delicious. But what really made my visit stand out was the top-notch service from Jesse – they were attentive, friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed.

The extensive beer selection was a bonus, and I was pleasantly surprised by the wood-fired pizzas on the menu. The spacious indoor-outdoor setting was perfect for a relaxed evening out, and I loved the live music adding to the atmosphere. Plus, our pup was welcome to join us on the patio, which was a lovely touch.

Overall, I’d highly recommend this spot for great food, drinks, and service – Jesse truly goes above and beyond!

Enzo’s BBQ in Oceanside is hands down some of the best BBQ in Southern California! The sliders were packed with flavor, and the variety of smoked meats was unbelievable—everything juicy, tender, and served with their amazing BBQ sauce. The wings are to die for, seriously some of the best I’ve ever had. On top of the food, the vibe was awesome—laid-back, welcoming, and full of good energy. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in Oceanside!

Sapo’s Brisket Challenge
phenomenal barbecue brisket plate, listening to blues music in a cozy tavern vibe

4.0
brisket was fork tender, no need to lift a knife, full flavored, smokey, pink smoke line

sauces were all delicious paired well with the meat

original was a medium pour, brown sugar sweet, with a good tang

spicy was a medium pour, a little sweet, good tang and solid kick at the end

habanero was fire in the literal sense and added an extra kick that always is fun to pair with brisket

mac&cheese was cheesy cheddar with spiral pasta, slight pull

slaw was creamy, fresh and crispy to clear the pallet

served with a square of corn bread, fluffy and light

have to come back to try the burnt ends burrito and beef ribs!

Pretty good food, but not amazing. Our first time here, so we will probably try different options next time. Huge menu with a lot of choices. Everyone can find something to eat or drink they will like. I had baby backs, hubby had bbq chicken. BBQ sauce is a bit on the vinegar side, but still good. Beans and slaw are good, chicken juicy, ribs over salted and dry (disappointing). Great selection of on-tap craft beers, cocktails and wines.
Huge space with indoor or covered patio options, looks like dog friendly on the patio. We arrived at shift-change, so a little rocky on the service, but within 15 minutes the pros arrived and service was fast, friendly, accurate and attentive. Prices on the high side, but portions are larger than the pictures appear to show. Overall a good place, but not the incredible bbq we were hoping for. We will be back to try other things. Salads, mac n cheese, pizzas all look really good.

I was trying to figure out why this place only had a 4.2. and I still don’t know. I give it almost 5 stars. I have eaten here about five times in the last month. And every meal has been pretty good.. the last meal I had here was the pulled pork French fries. (Don’t judge me.) The fork was excellent, as always the fries were just fries. But still very good… they have a very large selection of beers. .. I came in to watch the game. And I sat at the bar, and service was friendly and efficient. The food I ordered came out hot. My overall experience was good. And it has been that way every time I’ve been here. So it’s probably not a fluke.. overall. I say it’s a good place to go..
