Update! Everything I wrote previously below is still valid, but we did find that the all you can eat crablegs on Wednesday night was not worth it. The crablegs were small and some were very dry. We gave it a try. So far everything else was good
I hadn’t been here since they opened so I thought we give it another try. The shrimp tacos were very tasty, and the baked potato was delicious. It actually had a good flavor in itself. We also ordered the bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer and they were very good. I thought the vegetables were a little over sautéed but my partner found the steak tasty. We certainly enjoyed our server Mary’s input. The place is very close to where we live so we think we might just bypass the Franchise steak houses and start eating here more regularly. I also found the fact that they use a paper to go box that can unfold into a plate very commendable. A place that cares about the environment certainly must care about the quality of his food.

Came across this place on our way to WV. Followed positive reviews and did not regret. Fully agree – food is great, try catfish tacos- delicious . Take out order was made fast. Enjoyed!

Nice personal, walked thru dining room past 6 tables that had not been cleared yet employees were standing around chatting, slow on food prep and the smallest 6 ounce steak I have ever seen. It was tasty but I left hungry. Gave 4 stars only because they were nice and the flavor and cook was on point.

Not great, but not bad.
They didn’t have the first two things I ordered, which is frustrating. I always kind of hope they’ll either work a little harder or knock a buck or two off when a customer has to resort to their third choice of menu items, but not this night.
The food was fine. The fries were better than expected, but the portions were a little small for the price.

Hangout was a great restaurant experience. There was a good selection of drinks and food. The place was not crowded.
We had the burgers and kettle chips, both of which were great.
Service staff were extremely helpful and we had no issues with their abilities.
I would definitely eat here again.

it’s a nice place to go for casual outings. dynamic menu and decent daily specials…and great size on drafts!
*edit* We were really excited about them obtaining their liquor license, so once that was done we promptly stopped by. The reopened bar is not fantastic, feels more like a poker room if I were to be honest. It seems the staff are still working on their bartending skills too, as the drinks are mediocre at best. The effort is there, but not quite yet delivering on results. I feel like quality should match the price charged, sadly they still miss the mark.

Service was great, thank you Mary. Food arrived quickly and was really good. My husband and I had steak burgers. Both were juicy and cooked just the way we like. The onion rings are amazing! Mac and cheese is smooth and creamy. We will definitely make sure we stop by again when we are passing through the area.

Great place to eat. The burgers and fries were delicious. Pork BBQ was very good too. I recommend anyone driving 81 should stop in Strasburg and eat here!! The sweet tea is perfect and Mary, our server, was so sweet. Food came out fresh made and still fast!!

The toppings were plentiful. We only ate half. The burger my husband ordered was like steak! No one makes a burger like my hubby does but this was close. I ordered a grilled chicken salad that was beautiful and delicious.Neither of us could finish our meals. Yes, the portions are generous.
Our waitress was Mary. An excellent waitress with personality. Ask for her if you go! She took great care of us even with having her hands full with other customers.
Next trip to PA we will split the trip up so we can enjoy the Hang Out!

Great meal! We were out for a drive to WV and found this place online. It was great! Mary, our server, was friendly and accommodating. My boyfriend had a steak and it was perfect. I had tacos and they were very good! We wish we had room to try a dessert. Will definitely be going back there!!
