Absolutely amazing experience at Massimo Italian Bakery. The food was incredible — fresh, authentic, and so flavorful. What really made the visit special was the owner taking the time to help us review ingredients and make sure everything was safe for an obscure food sensitivity in our family. That level of care is rare and so appreciated.

Cute little Italian bakery! Love that they have mini options too. We went a bit later in the day so some things weren’t the most fresh but I loved the pistachio cannolis and my boyfriend really enjoyed the Oreo one. Overall was very good and would come again!

I would give zero stars to this bakery! I ordered for the first time from here a bday cake for my husband and I was never this disappointed in my life!! Look at the sample in blue and white that I sent them and see what they made for me!!! Not to mention the colors leaking into each other and eventually melting and falling apart!! Never going back even if they give me for free!! The audacity they send me this picture while they packaged it!!! Like seriously, do they have eyes!!!

Such a wonderful gem! I got the Cannoli Cake for my office Christmas party, and everyone raved about it! As a baker myself, I can say the cake was top notch. I also got the rainbow cookies, jam thumbprint cookies, a pistachio lobster tail, and mini pistachio eclairs. Absolutely everything was so delicious!! I chatted with the owner for a bit, and he was so friendly and kind. I will definitely be using him as my go-to bakery from now on!

Food is delicious and very plentiful. Be careful, those Sicilian slices are much bigger on a plate than they are in the window. And, they are even more so filling. Cannoli’s are delicious. Not as good as some places I’ve had in New Jersey but who am I to complain when I live 500+ miles away from such places. Their variety is phenomenal. Their customer service is impeccable. Not the greatest English speaking but you don’t have to speak English to treat someone nice and they definitely know how to do this. Overall, my experience was joyful, pleasant, relaxing, and very much satisfying. I definitely recommend at least one visit here for anyone who’s curious.

Massimo’s made the desserts for my wedding, and they were absolutely delicious! Everything they make that I’ve tried has been fantastic. I’ve been to most bakeries around the Harrisburg area, and this is by far my favorite. I moved here from NYC a few years ago, and thought I could never find good quality Italian baked goods in this area until Massimo’s opened! They’re the only authentic Italian bakery around that reminds me of the italian bakeries I used to go to in NYC, a quality of which I thought I wouldn’t see once I moved to PA. I’m so so happy they moved into this area!
Best rainbow cookies I’ve probably ever had. Great cannolis….great cookies of all types. Highly recommend for any event, or just for stopping in for a quick dessert bite.

What an amazing find in the little town, Mechanicsburg, this authentic as any Italian bakery I have ever been to right in town as soon as you walk in and start looking at all the delectable treats, you know you are in the presence of some amazing desserts. The wife of the owner talk to us for quite some time about all the different things with questions about and we had a lot bless her and then her husband, the actual chef came out and was talking to us as well and we continue to ask him even more questions come to find out he was actually the chef at another nearby, Italian bakery that closed after his departure. I am so happy to hear he is still locally whipping up his Italian desserts for all to enjoy my wife and I indulged in some delicious pistachio cannolis, the almond cookies are also very notable and we cannot wait to return to get one of the many cakes for our Christmas dinner as well as a few smaller bites for ourselves. The family is amazing. The patrons are overly friendly and this is truly Delicioso.

The owner is SO NICE and took the time to chat with everyone who came in like they were visiting family. He clearly loves what he does and it comes through in the food he offers. I can’t wait to come back!
