Probably the best tasting Singaporean restaurant in Europe. Don’t miss out on the Salted Egg Prawns, Char Kway Teow and the Beef Rendang. The service was also amazing as the owner was friendly.

I personally like their laksa. The dish has an excellent texture, smooth and satisfying. The soup is rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of thickness, not overly watery.

Racist owner, sub-par food. Experienced reverse racism from the owner. I’m a fellow Singaporean Chinese. I was the first person to enter the restaurant. Owner stays in his seat and ignores me. That’s totally fine. But when two western ladies enter and sit next to me, he rushes up to warmly welcome them, beaming. Looks me in the eye and walks off. I make eye contact a few times to see if he would make an effort, but continue to be ignored. When I pay the bill, all he can bring himself to say to me is the price. Just read the other reviews and seeing other Asians also encountered racism here. Tip: Chinese restaurant next door food is better and owner defo not rascist.

A great south east Asian restaurant which serves both Singaporean and Malay food and more. We visited for dinner and it was brilliant. I went for beef rendang with the singaporean nasi goreng which was a bit different to the usual one I’m used to. My better half went for the Singaporean noodles with an assortment of soup and salad. The food and pricing was really good for Geneva and the service was great. We didn’t have a reservation as we turned up quite early but making one is recommended if you’re visiting during peak hours.

As a Singaporean, this is hands down the most authentic Singaporean food we’ve had across all of Europe. The char kway teow is incredible — a rich wok hei flavour that is almost impossible to recreate outside of SG. The chicken satay is also a must — juicy and tender on the inside, crispy on the outside. Will be back for more.

Food was really good, super authentic, very on point. Had the beef rendang, char kway teow and salted egg prawns. Really felt like in SG. Service was nice but the environment felt very normal, nothing too Singaporean in the vibes other than the merlion. Prices are outrageous but its Geneva…

I may not be a Singaporean, but I have been to Singapore several times and am a proud friend of plenty of Singaporeans. We all agree that this is the best Singaporean food we’ve had outside of Singapore (having tried places across the US and the UK). Everything was amazing, but there were a few really excellent dishes:

* The Char Kuey Teow was incredible. I’ve never had satisfying CKT outside of Singapore before this. This one is proper — wok hei, super umami, not too sweet — just really good.
* The sambal kang kong was spicy and salty and really satisfying to eat alongside the spicy crispy beef, with a bit of rice.
* The laksa was perfectly rich with coconut and a hint of seafood flavor, plus an aromatic spice mix that was enjoyably heavy on star anise.
* The mee goreng was the spiciest dish we had, also very satisfying.

The couple that runs the restaurant is also incredibly kind and treated us so well!

As a Singaporean visiting Geneva, Jeck’s Place was restaurant I needed to try, and I wasn’t disappointed.
I would highly recommend the red duck curry with a side of the rice, it was truly amazing. And you cannot miss out on the satay as an entrée, they were amazing. The peanut sauce was perfect, utterly perfect.
If I had to mention an improvement that could be made, it would be the lighting, as it can be disturbing. But honestly it wasn’t that bad.

Amazing restaurant. Would come back!

Thank you Jeck! ❤️
