My family and I go here often. It is our favorite Chinese food around. It may be a smaller selection but it is always fresh. The waitress (we always seem to have the same one) knows our drinks and has them on the table before we have our coats off. Tonight I happened to ask what brand of hot tea they have because I always get it and just really enjoy it. She brought me out a bag to take home. Such a sweetie. And the food was hot, fresh and delicious as always.

The food is always fresh when we go there and when we do go and it’s not fresh the staff explains it close to closing hour and brings out whatever we need. Even though I see a lot of bad review on their noodles, I LOVE THEIR THIN NOODLES AND WONTON SOUP IS THE BEST!

This was the worst Chinese food we’ve ever had. The sauces leaked all over. The vegetable lo mein was made with looked like angel hair pasta, no sauce and very salty. There was literally 1 pepper slice and I carrot slice. The egg rolls are not what we are used to getting. The dumplings were soaked in sauce (I like them plain). The inside was inedible. Very disappointed.

A1 KITCHEN or CHINESE BUFFET are the go to for decent Chinese food in the North Country. DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give zero stars I would. Not worth your money. The food is bland and looks like it’s been sitting in my fridge for a week already. How is this place even still open?

This was our first time ordering from China Doll. I live across town from them. I placed my order online and it said about a 45 minute wait. No problem. It actually only took 14 minutes after ordering, my food was at my door! Very fast! The food was only so-so, though. My wife ordered shrimp lo mein and it was a bland, flavorless dish made with angel-hair pasta noodles, not lo mein noodles, and no type of sauce at all. I “special requested” my General Tso’s chicken to be made “extra spicy” if possible. It was pretty bland and not spicy at all. The fried rice was good. The egg rolls were not what we are used to at basically EVERY other Chinese restaurant that we’ve ever ordered from – a round, filled roll. These were flat on each end with a bite of filling in the middle. Good flavor, but very disappointing otherwise. We’ve recently moved to the area and were looking for a new Chinese restaurant to order from. Unfortunately, China Doll is not it.
Pros – lightening fast delivery. Good fried rice.
Cons – bland food. Bad egg rolls. Disappointing.

The food was expensive and product was something I wouldn’t have taken for free.
Angel hair pasta in place of lo mein. The egg rolls are the most disappointing excuse I’ve ever seen. I’d give 0 stars if I could.
Would not shop again.

I haven’t had China Doll in over 10 years and now I remember why. The Wonton Soup is the only thing that is good. Angel hair for Lo Mein. The cheese wontons have nearly nothing in them. The egg rolls are not egg rolls at all. The food is very bland I had to dump red sauce on everything.

I ordered General Tso chicken with veggie lo mein. The lo mein had no flavor and there weren’t any veggies save one carrot matchstick. The noodles were sooo mushy, and all broken up
The chicken has this weird vinegary sauce. It was bland otherwise. There weren’t any kind of peppers, and I was so sad.
The eggroll was ok, but nothing special. It was folded like an empanada.
I was so so sad, I really wanted to like it, but I wasn’t impressed at all. I ate a little but threw it out, it wasn’t worth it. I am so sorry

Shockingly bad. I agree with others:
No flavor!
I also agree with others that:
-the sesame shrimp has a weird glue coating on it. It was chewy. I spit it out and threw it away. I hardly ever throw food away!
-that the mixed vegetables are mostly broccoli.
-that the sweet and sour sauce tastes watered down, as does the brown sauce they gave me for the mixed vegetable.
Plus hardly any rice for three shrimp entrees.
I love Chinese food and I grew up eating Asian food and this was terrible—- I will not be back. I actually had to use the soy sauce packets included which I never do. It still didn’t help much!
They should be embarrassed to serve this food to people. Shame on you. This is NOT what you eat in your homes, I can guarantee that.
