A warm hug on a plate!
This is how I can best describe the food at Omaya’s.
We were recommended to try this restaurant and thought to give it a try, and boy were we surprised in the best way possible!
Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff with the friendliest smiles. Our server was very accommodating and efficient. Very easy to speak to and didn’t rush us at all. We ordered the mezze plate to start with and omg the falafel had us speechless. So fresh, light and oh so flavorful. Everything on that plate was so fresh and delicious!
We then had the lamb chops which came with rice, hummus, pickled onions and salad. Those chops were the most juiciest and succulent chops I’ve ever had in my entire life!!! So tender and decadent. They were premium Australian lamb. My mouth is watering as I type this.
My husband was so impressed that he wanted to try another dish so we ended up ordering the lamb shank, and I think that was the best decision we had made in a very long time because let me tell you…..this lamb shank was fall off the bone tender and the hearty stew was literally a warm hug to the soul. I felt like I was eating at someone’s house rather than a restaurant because of how home cooked it felt.
Every dish at Omaya’s feels like it’s made with love and wrapped in warmth!
Omaya herself came to our table and spent some time chatting with us. A very happy and humble person who cares about her customers and what goes on their tables. Every staff member was very friendly and caring. We felt so loved and appreciated at Omaya’s.
If you’re looking for comfort food then this is the place to visit! The hospitality, food and pastries will not disappoint.
Definitely going back!!

It’s pricey, for sure, but man is it good!

We got a bunch of plates to share and I was blown away by the Fatteh Bil Laban. The garbanzos weren’t chalky in the slightest, and the garlic yogurt was perfection.

The toum is among the best I’ve had, and the shawarma was tasty, too.

I will be back to have the Fatteh again and get the shish tawook and report back.

Great experience overall. We started with a few appetizers, everything was well-prepared and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the combo plate with filet mignon and chicken, and both were excellent. The quality of the meat, the cook, and the seasoning all came together perfectly, every bite felt lively and well-balanced.

We also tried a few desserts, and the baklava really stood out. It was rich without being overwhelming, the kind of dessert that feels comforting rather than heavy. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

I don’t even know where to start. This place had delicious food. I was hesitant to try anything because It was my first time trying Lebanese food and it was a first date.
I would definitely go back. We had a cozy spot on the patio with the heater and enjoyed ourselves.the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was charming. It’s small but inviting with a nice covered patio area. Ok now for the service she was absolutely amazing. If I remember correctly, her name was Leanna. She was attentive and all her recommendations were amazing. She was kind and checked on us often with an upbeat demeanor. We will definitely be going back.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Omaya’s Lebanese Cuisine. The food itself was decent, but nothing extraordinary – just some grilled meats, fries, rice, salad, and small sides. What shocked me was the bill. They charged us $200 for food for only 5 people! For what we got, this was completely overpriced and not worth the money at all.

I’ve eaten at many Lebanese and Mediterranean restaurants, and for the same amount of food, it should have been far less. The portions didn’t justify the price, and I left feeling ripped off. Definitely not coming back here, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless you’re okay with overpaying.

A hidden gem in Santa Clarita.

Pros:
You can dine in or sit outside. Really good ambiance. Cauliflower wrap, falafel plate were the best and must try. Pita stuffed with cheese and as just ok. Very friendly staff. Service was on point. The person who served offered few baklavas which were fantastic. Good veg options and yes I recommend this place.

Cons
I felt there should have been some real juice nobody wants to pay $5 for Sunny D.

We were traveling through Santa Clarita and had dinner there, to find that Omaya’s is a gem of a place. We chose the sampler with hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouli, and dolmas. Then a kebab plate and the lamb shank. It was a lot of food for two but we could not help it because everything on the menu was so appealing and entertaining. Then the highlight: the flavors transported us to delicious places we have not been before. The baba ghanoush that night was the best I have ever experienced; the smoky grilled taste and deliciousness felt like it was made with care and integrity. The tabouli tasted so fresh, the lamb shank so tender; it was a very exciting meal! But what makes a good restaurant is not the food alone. The service was wonderful. Shout out to Allegra, Romy, Ashley, who helped us navigate the menu and specials. Thank you for care and patience we ended the evening with our tummies full and so were our hearts!

Absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff at Omaya Lebanese made us feel so welcomed — genuinely kind, attentive, and warm. You can tell they truly care about their guests and take pride in what they do.

The food was phenomenal — fresh, flavorful, and completely authentic. Every dish tasted homemade with that perfect balance of spices and love that’s hard to find. The hummus was silky, the shawarma perfectly seasoned, and the portions were generous without compromising quality.

It’s rare to find a place that combines top-tier hospitality with authentic Lebanese flavors, but Omaya absolutely nails it. Can’t wait to come back and bring friends next time!

I recently dined at Omaya’s Lebanese Cuisine, and it delivered a flavorful and well-balanced introduction to Lebanese cuisine in the Santa Clarita area. Located along Cinema Drive, the restaurant offers a welcoming and comfortable dining space that blends a modern casual setting with the warmth typical of Middle Eastern hospitality. The environment feels relaxed and inviting, making it an easy place to enjoy both casual meals and small gatherings.

Lebanese cuisine is known for its emphasis on fresh ingredients, herbs, and balanced seasoning, and the menu here reflects those traditions well. Many dishes highlight olive oil, garlic, lemon, and herbs that create bright and aromatic flavors. The mezze-style appetizers were particularly enjoyable, offering a variety of small plates that allow diners to explore multiple flavors. Items such as hummus, baba ghanoush, and other traditional dips showed good balance and freshness.

The grilled meats were another highlight of the meal. Lebanese cooking often relies on simple marinades and careful grilling techniques that allow the natural flavor of the meat to stand out. The meats were tender and well seasoned, with a pleasant char from grilling that added depth to the dishes. Served alongside rice, salads, and sauces such as garlic sauce or tahini, the plates felt balanced and satisfying.

Another strength of the cuisine is its use of fresh vegetables and herbs. Salads and sides brought brightness to the meal, helping balance the richness of the grilled proteins. The flavors leaned toward citrus, herbs, and olive oil rather than heavy spices, which is characteristic of traditional Lebanese cooking.

Service during the visit was friendly and attentive. Staff members were welcoming and comfortable explaining dishes for guests unfamiliar with Lebanese cuisine. The pacing of the meal felt smooth and unhurried, which allowed time to enjoy the various dishes.

The overall atmosphere contributes positively to the experience. Omaya’s maintains a neighborhood restaurant feel where diners can enjoy authentic flavors in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

Overall, Omaya’s Lebanese Cuisine offers a satisfying Lebanese dining experience with fresh ingredients, well-executed grilled dishes, and balanced Mediterranean flavors. It stands out as a strong option for anyone looking to explore Lebanese cuisine in the Santa Clarita area.
