Nice restaurant located right next to Rosin EyeCare in Berwyn. After an appointment, we stopped in for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The space was quiet and welcoming, with music playing softly in the background. We were greeted by a very friendly server, and the place was clean, shiny, and offered plenty of seating.
The menu has a solid selection for meat eaters. My teen got taco asada and said it was delicious . As a pescatarian, I noticed there was only one fish option, a large tilapia dinner, I wasn’t that hungry – but it was fresh made, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I ended up eating the whole plate
There were shrimp dishes available, but not all pescatarians eat shrimp, and my child has a shellfish allergy, so that limited my options to the one dish. And they said I couldn’t substitute anything. ♀️ So there were very few, if any, vegetarian or pescatarian-friendly alternatives.
Overall, the prices were reasonable, the service was good, and it was a great dining experience. A few more veggie or fish options or ability for dietary restrictive substitutions would make this spot 5 star for me.

THE FOOD HERE IS AMAZING. Very flavorful dishes. I love how its a fusion of Mexican, Cuban and Puerto Rican dishes. I’ve been here a few times now and every dish has been delicious.

Ordered a steak jibarito with rice, an alcapurria and an empanada.
The jibarito had literally had one piece of meat a small piece of lettuce and one tomatoe. The meat was dry and under seasoned the rice was very good but such a small portion.
The alcapurria was burnt!’ And tasted disgusting as for the empanada it was ok at best this is the second place I tried Puerto Rican in this area and they both had 2 things in common it wasn’t good and portion control is super shady. If you go to the north side and get a jibarito you get a good portion of steak and rice. If your looking for a better Puerto Rican restaurant try Jibaritos y mas it is a little bit of a drive but we’ll worth it!! Maybe their Mexican food is better and that’s why their reviews are so high but unfortunately I will never know.

Food was delicious, I had a $12 Jibarito and my family enjoyed their other dishes. In average it may be $15-20 per person and they accept card but charged extra for card. Service was good.

The food is great here. We had an empanada de rajas y queso, el Platillo de Lechon, papa rellenos con carne, and a Jibarito de lechon. Everything tasted fresh, clean, delicious, full of flavor. Surpassed all expectations. I definitely will be coming back from Chicago to try out more menu items. This spot is legit.

Been coming here for years, love the Puerto Rican Food, especially their jibaritos. Their Tortas are also very filling and delicious. I always recommend them to friends and family, if you haven’t gone yet, give them a try. They’re family owned, family operated, great people and amazing service. Prices are fair and worth it.
