Cozy little place and fair priced as the food wasn’t GREAT. I expected our meals to be a little more flavorful and quality and the staff more sociable..
The food I could just tolerate but the presentation of the dishes was lovely. Our service lacking is what gave this place a 2… the two men working, were self absorbed behind the counter and barely looked up to assist with seating or menu questions. Also, Spent a bit of time wondering things aloud to my friends as my table was neglected until I approached the staff in confusion if we actually get table service at this establishment.
The purpose of my lunch date was taking one of my closest friends out as a thank you and buying her, her first Thai meal as she has never tried it before..
We made the best off our occasion but I most definitely look forward to a redo and some dank dishes elsewhere!

Went to the wealthy street location and picked up Pad Thai and crab cheese bites. Not good, pad thai was bad, the chicken in it was chewy and old. Crab bites were dry and cold. Dont waste your time/money here.

This is my second time eating here! I like everything I have eaten so far, however I feel it is a little runny (I am gluten free so not sure if that is why). The staff is friendly, they bring you your food you just have to take your try up after your done. The inside is small but who cares if it is good food.
The first time I odder medium spice, there was a kick but good. The second time (I was not feeling well) I ordered very low spice there was no burn it was not what I will order again but I know I can eat here no mater my spice level.

The restaurant was quiet enough inside (which I like) so you don’t have to yell at the people you are dining with. Very soothing music played. Food was great; had the Lime Leaf curry this time (excellent, especially with a little heat added), and will be back to try more. Others in my party had noodle bowls and loved them.
They give you the option to make your meal larger size for an additional $3, which I did, and had enough left over to save for lunch the next day. I love it when this is an option. Most dishes also allow you to choose your meat/tofu/veggies and spice level, so customizing is great.
While we were dining a few people came in waiting for takeout orders, and with not much option for sitting and waiting outside or in a lobby they seemed very uncomfortable just waiting at the counter or sitting at the entrance/first table in the restaurant.

We used to love going here, but they changed a lot in the last few months. The food was always great and the portions were generous. But after our recent visit, the quality seems to have really tanked. It’s geared more towards takeout and fast food style. The food was not as good and the portion sizes were cut in half, but the price is still the same and it’s served in paper boats. We were dissapointed because it used to be one of our favorite Thai food places.

Their service is quick and inexpensive with absolutely delicious food! I had the veggie Thai curry with red curry. I love the combo of red curry and coconut milk together. I substituted brown rice and added cashews; it was perfection! The medium is really quite spicy, so be careful. Unless you’re really into spicy, I would not order anything over mild.

We went late afternoon, and were not impressed. It seemed very oriented toward “self service” – signs on the door say to order at the counter, and bus your own table. We ordered a chicken pad Thai, green curry with shrimp, and the curry noodles. The only thing really edible was the curry noodles because they were bathed in peanut curry sauce. Very few vegetables, or even bean sprout garnish. Just rice noodles swimming in peanut sauce. The tofu included was either overly cooked or old or both, it was barely edible, I actually spit a piece out. My daughter’s pad Thai was very sweet. She ended up not eating it. My sons shrimp curry was extremely spicy, and just basically had shredded bamboo and very large chunks of green pepper. All in all it was kind of a waste of $40, and the meals came in paper bowls with tin foil lining, so that we could easily bus our own tables. Continuing our search for decent Thai in GR!

We have given up on Erb Thai. 9 times out of 10, they’re either closed or don’t answer the phone when you call to place an order. I just ordered a nice meal for my family, which they accepted and then cancelled without explanation. Want good Thai take out? Try Mai Thai. Food is as good but they are reliable.

Erb Thai is easily one of the better Thai places in GR – however this location definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I placed an order over the phone for take out and there was a bit of a technical difficulty and then the hostess put the phone down and completely forgot about me. I ended up hanging up and calling again and was finally able to talk to someone. They said it would be about 20-25 minutes for the order to be done and I arrived within 30 minutes and still had to wait another 15 for my order to come out. Store was also not very clean during my visit. Would recommend that you make the drive to the Standale location – way better staff and cleaner store!
