Great place at Mohegan Sun in CT. Our server Peyton was great! He explained the specials, was attentive, polite, and responsive to all requests! We like the ambiance. Some tables don’t have enough light to see your plate, but for just drinks and coziness, sometimes less light is better. There are lots of table types, high top, etc. Some seats in the back have a step up to get to seating. Prices are comparable and not overly expensive. Drink menu has good choices for an Irish pub. ☘️

Last night the Mrs & I swung by Mohegan Sun for a concert and decided to grab dinner at one of our long-time favorites, The Lansdowne Pub. Big Saturday crowd, we expected a wait. Forty-five minutes? Totally fine. We’ve waited longer for worse decisions.
Then they sat us in the back corner, a spot I can only describe as “inside the woofer.” As someone who used to design sound systems, this was an acoustic war crime. You don’t sit in this corner so much as vibrate through your meal while the bass tries to rearrange your internal organs. We asked to move, and thankfully they did.
But then came the real offense.
I ordered bangers and mash, which the menu proudly states comes with Bachelor’s beans. What arrived was… American baked beans. Full Yankee picnic mode. The culinary equivalent of wearing sneakers with a tux. And when I mentioned it, the server hit me with the “yeah we’ve been doing it like that for months” shrug. No sign that anyone actually cares that they’re serving a fake Irish pub dish with the bait and switch beans like we wouldn’t notice. You can literally buy them at stop & shop, this isn’t exotic cuisine.
So, after years of being our go-to Mohegan spot, we’re done. I can overlook a long wait. I can overlook being sat in a bass trap disguised as a dining area. But a dishonest menu and a total disregard for what makes the dish Irish in the first place? Absolutely not.
Easily the worst meal experience I’ve had in a long time.

We were at the casino for the Drop Kick Murphy’s concert and I thought this was a perfect restaurant to go to! I wasn’t able to make reservations online, but we were there earlier (430) and we were able to get right in. The atmosphere is so neat. We ordered the loaded tots to start, they were delicious and filling. I got a fish sandwich, which was so flavorful, the fries were good but nothing spectacular. My son got the bangers and mash and ate every bit as fast as he could he loved it so much! My husband got the Sheppard’s pie which he thought was pretty good and my brother got a burger which you can see he enjoyed thoroughly. The prices are decent compared to other restaurants at the casino, and the food was plentiful and filling.

I’m really struggling with this one. My wife and I dined here on 11/29/25 while attending the Sarah Brightman Winter Symphony. The service and ambiance were truly unmatched. Our waiter was excellent, very attentive, personable, and genuinely eager to make our evening enjoyable. I left a generous tip because he absolutely deserved it.
Unfortunately, the food and overall value were extremely disappointing. Charging $15 for a shot of Jameson is outrageous, and both the corned beef and the fish & chips were completely flavorless. We spent over $150 on what was ultimately a very bland and forgettable meal.
While the service was outstanding, the food and pricing were so poor that we don’t see ourselves returning and can’t recommend them.

I found the selections to be varied and the prices on par with the rest of the casino. We were a party of 4. Two of us ordered burgers, one baked cod and one birria taco. The food was good, the birria taco was a stand out, which you wouldn’t expect for an “Irish pub”.
I would recommend this place if you were going to the casino for the most part. It was huge and we had no wait time. The service was excellent. The portions were generous.
The reason I gave it 4 stars was really the atmosphere and the bathroom. It was very dark and multiple people around us had to pull out their phones just to read their menus. The drinks menu had no prices listed. The bathroom was not great. One of the two stalls lacked paper. There was one shared sink. Not big enough, somewhat dark like the rest of the restaurant. Use a bathroom in the casino instead.

Dined here many times while visiting Mohegan Sun. At our most recent visit, we started of with Banana Mudslide and The Smores Porter Draft. The Smores was so good I had two more during our dinner. We had the Corn Beef and Cabbage Spring rolls which were perfectly prepared. Our waitress Morgan L patiently waited for us to finish the Spring rolls before taking our entree order, Chicken Pot Pie and Corn Beef and Cabbage. We have had both of these entrees in the past here. The quality and quantity of these entrees are excellent and consistent. The Lansdowne is our favorite casual restaurant at Mohegan Sun. Service and Food are always excellent.

Food was delicious! The loaded potato kegs are a must-have appetizer and plenty of entree options to choose from. Have never had a bad meal here… fish, rueben sandwich, and burgers are all fantastic! Good service and food comes out quick!

It was our first time eating at Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House, but definitely not our last. Our server was amazing. He got our drinks and appetizer in minutes. Our meal was a burger and a turkey sandwich. The food was incredible. We had plenty of time to eat comfortably and make it downstairs to see Keith Urban on 10/3/25. I never heard our server’s name but I made sure to tell someone that he was excellent. We’ll be back!

Large space with a long bar aprox 40 seats. Stage in far back. Dozens of tables. Most sit 4 or more. Food was ok. Ale and onion soup was ok. Wings were excellent. We tried the gochujang. Service was ok. Two meals two apps two drinks $140. Not bad for the casino. I wouldn’t make an effort to go back but nice to try once.

Wonderful atmosphere. Jeff Rourke was playing and he was excellent. The food wasn’t as good as the menu described. My boyfriend’s Bacon Bleu cheese burger had no Bleu cheese. There was no salt on my chips nor were there any pickles on my turkey sandwich when asked for extra pickles. Expecting a wheat berry bread and got what appeared to be a multigrain. Asked server about no salt on chips, she said they were lightly salted. There was no salt on the chips and I’m a frugal salt user!
