Stopped by for lunch while in town visiting a friend. The food was tasty but even better than the food was the service. I felt welcome and appreciated as a customer here. Would definitely stop by again for a meal!

Disappointing and disappointed. It’s been over a year since I visited where this was such a gem and often long lines during the lunch rush in downtown Camden. Certainly prices are a little more (too be expected nowadays) but quality has slipped. Pork was overly dry and overcooked which I suspect had more to do with repurposing (leftover) versus freshly made same day. On a more positive note, place has been renovated since my last visit most likely due to pandemic and the black beans are still pretty good.

Gave me 2 very tiny chicken legs with my rice and corn. Could get a lot more food for much cheaper in other parts of Camden. Paid $18.00 for 2 platters of chicken corn and rice. No gravy on rice either just plain.
