Comments: my eggs were cooked correctly, bacon was cooked and slightly floppy, pancakes were hot and fluffy. It was a solid cafe breakfast. My criticism is the the building and general cleanliness could be improved.
Fine print: I use a 1-5 stars rating system. As a general rule of thumb, any place with an overall rating of 3 stars or more I would likely visit again. Anything less, I recommend skipping.

The best meal that I’ve had out from home in years!!! We were traveling in and out from Missouri. Sure do wish they were located back here in Missouri so we could visit more often!!! Amazing service!!! Very clean!!!! Very peaceful!!! Large delicious servings!! If I’m ever back in Dyersburg Tennessee we will definitely be returning!!!! 10 Stars!!!!! Oh!!! Forgot to mention the prices are extremely reasonable and affordable!!!!

What a great little spot! We stopped in for breakfast, and it felt like a warm hug from home. The southern home cooking brought back fond memories with my grandparents, and the portion sizes are super generous! The staff is incredibly friendly, making our experience even more delightful. Well me and friend eat there it was real good one lady was working that day shec was mice so me and other friend with back the next day well lady wasnt there from day before.there was other lady and a guy fixed the food.well there a few things i could say but wont. The lady was real disrespectful in all kinds of ways the guy was nice. So we didnt get all what we order i eat my food it was teal good what i got. But the service really suck.the man was nice enough to not take money from me. He pay for my meal. But my friend didnt get anything. But dont know who the lady is but she shouldn’t be working and treat people that way

First time and last time I’ll be here. One person works the whole restaurant. They take orders, cook the food, bus tables, check people out all by themselves. She was immediately rude upon walking into the restaurant. The “owner” sat at the corner of the counter and talked the whole time to guests. I did see him go and take the order of a table that sat down for about 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging them. 20 minutes to come take our order, 45 minutes for her to cook it. Isn’t breakfast supposed to be a quick meal? There were other customers walking around with the pot of coffee to fill up everyone since the waitress couldn’t do anything else. I don’t think this business owns a mop let alone a clean rag to wipe things down. Everything is coated in grease. Floors, tables, chairs, etc. you can tell have not been cleaned since the place opened in the 60’s. The bathroom was so nasty I didn’t know whether to use the toilet or the floor. I could only imagine what the kitchen looks like if they don’t clean anything else. If you don’t want to have a chance of getting hepatitis I would go somewhere else.

The food is excellent. Worth the wait, but if you have a hungry toddler you know how it is with an extended wait on food. We were the only customers at the time that didn’t have our food, they rest were single men up at the bar part already had been served. We had to wait 20-30 minutes for our meals, and then we sat and sat and sat and waited for our check. We were not asked once if we wanted refills .. so service needs to be improved. The food is so yummy though so we will give it another go.

First thing when I walked in I got knocked back by the smell of a that the woman behind the counter was smoking then when she did speak to me it has if I was bothering her like I was an annoyance whole time I was there I felt uneasy I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.
