Nice quaint taqueria. We found the place searching for the best taqueria in Oakdale, CA and we were not disappointed. The place has a nice family atmosphere with food made from the heart too. We cleaned up all the plates. Tacos were yummy and the rice and beans were so flavorful.

An unassuming Mexican restaurant ended up producing some of the best food my family and I have ever tasted. We needed something to eat coming from Yosemite. We each got different meals and they were all excellent. I personally got the California burrito with marinated chicken, and it was definitely the best burrito I have ever had. It was nothing short of pure perfection.

Delicious tacos, especially the super tender lengua and the adobado. Really terrific guacamole, freshly made – nice big chunks of avocado and I can taste the lime. We ate every bit of our food and will return when we’re next in Oakdale. Bonus: covered patio where our dog is welcome.

My first time getting food here, I ordered the fajitas with chicken shrimp and steak and it was delicious! Inside is like a real, authentic Mexican restaurant and the patio area is really nice too. I am very impressed and so far I’d recommend them as a go-to place for Mexican food in Oakdale.

We stopped here on the way out of backpacking in Yosemite. The food was delicious, fresh, ample, fast, and affordable. My husband is Mexican and we spend time there often visiting family. This was every bit as good as what you’d get at a similar family place in Mexico. Hot baskets of chips. Wonderful service. Only thing that could be improved is to make their own corn masa tortillas. Everything else was terrific. Great tacos al pastor, sauces, etc. Will definitely stop here again!
