I love Long John silver’s, always have and I always will. this one was clean and even though it was sharing a place with a Taco Bell the fish was hot fresh and crispy, the hush puppies are fresh, and the coleslaw was amazing. I’d recommend coming here if you ever stop in alamosa and you’re looking for a quick bite to eat!

I have been craving Long John Silvers so we drove 2 hours from Pueblo, CO to Alamosa, CO only to fund that LJS was closed down. The website really needs to be updated. It was such a disappointment! Now I know why everyone kept saying ewww why are you going to Alamosa.

My group of 6 (3 adults 3 kids) came in, ordered 5 crunch wraps zero special requests or anything crazy(1 steak, 2 sausage, 1 bacon, 1 original), and a couple of basic tacos with no lettuce. We were the ONLY customers in the building at around 10 am. on Monday, Feb 6th. 1 employee was on her break eating (obviously not to blame as she truly was not involved in any way and looked mortified at how we were being treated) & 3 others working in the back. The main employee we dealt with is Sade S.
We received ALL of our food except the 1 bacon crunch wrap. We asked about it, and they shrugged it off. Assuming it was on it’s way we waited patiently. While we all ate our food, the 1 foodless person waited. And we continued to wait patiently.
After 15 minutes, the bacon crunch wrap never showed up. We had observed at least 10 orders go through the drive-through while waiting and being ignored.
When asked about the missing food, we were ignored. FINALLY after waiting another 10 minutes and asking for a refund MULTIPLE times & asking to see the manager, another person from the back brought out the crunch wrap and gave it to one of our kids, not the one of us up at the register waiting for the food.
By this time, we had requested a refund because they were making no effort to resolve the issue.
When we requested the refund, Sade refused, stating, “we can’t/we don’t know how.” It’s not a bunch of money. Literally $6 & some change. The ONLY reason we were acknowledged was because we stated we were calling corporate. It was at that point. Sade basically ripped open the register and threw the money on the counter.
The customer service, the way we were treated, was horrible and completely unacceptable.
I highly do NOT recommend spending any of your money here & know that my family & friends will NOT be returning to this location.
If this is how a small simple order for 6 is handled I cannot fathom how badly a large order would be handled. If this is the way they treated us, how do they treat the elderly or those less fortunate that can’t afford to pay for a meal they don’t receive?

Wow, for $7.99 for 2.pieces of chicken and fries you’d think you’d get good size pieces. Looked nothing like the photo. Although it was good, for not even what 1 piece should be combined, I’m knocking it down 1 star and negative 2 stars for the girl who took the order. Never said a word until I asked how she was. Seemed annoyed that we bothered her.

UPDATE: LJS is supposed to have online ordering, they have a online menu, WHERE’S THE PRICES¿??????????????I WAS ALL SET TO ORDER BUT YOU MAKE LIFE DIFFICULT & REFUSE TO PUT PRICES,. IM JUST GONNA BET YOUR OUTRAGEOUS & THATS WHY YOU DONT PUT THEM .the long John location is okay. The taco bell ruins the atmosphere tho. The hush puppies are extremely dry. The food is undercooked & overcooked. There’s no happy medium at this place.i put 2 stars cause they were open at least.

Stale nacho fries. No ice. Unmelted cheese on a Cheese Quesadilla!!!! Bathroom experience from a bad movie. Toilet seat off, door didn’t close and the sink was constantly running, which is better than not working at all. Tons of crumbs from long John Silvers.

Waited 19 minutes after ordering to get my burrito supreme and crunchy taco. The tray it was served on was dirty. I ordered at 11:28, well ahead of the lunch rush. The lady who came in after me tried everything she could think of to get someone to come to the counter, waving and calling. Three people from the drive thru came back in for food missing from their order. Will I go back to this Taco Bell. No. And the Long John Silver’s side was shut down completely. The meal was decent and the place was presentable. Effective management was missing entirely. Too bad.

Our family was traveling through and half wanted to go to Long Johns and decided Taco Bell was good. When we arrived not only was Long John’s not making food or taking orders even though it was from the same counter and same kitchen… But everyone had to order at the kiosk at the counter, and acted really put out when someone would try to pay cash to them after ordering at the kiosk without a card. There were more than enough people there working, but they were all very young and were extremely too busy socializing to work. Our order was wrong, and even though we just dealt with it and ate what we received, I did however have to go back to the counter to get some things because the station that usually has the cutlery, napkins, straws hot sauce, ketchup, and so forth was empty. After I stood there for about 5 minutes with employees standing at the back of the kitchen, once the counter girl acknowledged that I was standing there, she kept talking for several minutes about how some guy was so interested in someone. When she finally came up and said “what do you need”(clearly I had interrupted her conversation), she was clearly agitated that I was wasting her time. After I told her that I needed some napkins a straw and a fork, she’s slang it down on the counter and I said thank you. Her then reply was “I have to it’s my job” and walked away.
I’m only giving this a rating of a 1 because I have 2 very young daughters and you taught them a very important lesson that I want them to know…a difference. They learned the opposite of how you should treat customers, and a very ill-mannered way to treat people, along with what disrespectful looked like from the public eye. So thank you for that but I’m sure glad we were just traveling and everyone else closer has other options to choose from.

Extremely disappointed!! Traveling through and the demeanor of the old woman at the register was so unwelcoming. The fish was dry and dehydrated, the shrimp had a taste to it. Ordered nacho fries as well and tasted stale. More than half our meal went to the garbage!!!

Went to this place wanting long John silvers was told they were not serving long John silvers but only Taco Bell. Also the inside was closed at 7pm when on the door it said till 10pm. We just got in the car and continued our trip.
