First time here and everything was great! Completely exceeding expectations. This was legit well executed BBQ. We first had onion rings for appetizer, and they were big thick slices with solid tasting breading. The entrees, I had a pulled pork BBQ Horseshoe and wife had a Brisket and burnt ends platter. Mine was a mountain of the best pulled pork I’ve had in Illinois to date, it was more than I could handle and I went in hungry. Wife’s was excellent too, the meat was so tender you could easily pull it apart, tender like it was smoked for 15 hrs! They were both perfection. The BBQ sauce was extra special, like a blend of sweet baby rays and something else they created. The atmosphere was a fun inviting one and the waitress was very nice and attentive and personable. All the boxes you can think of you expect for an A+ experience were checked. The prices were very reasonable too! I’ve seen fast good joints charge more and you ain’t getting this kind of quality and service at any of those. We’ll be back, a lot!

Food is pretty good. I haven’t had a bad meal so far! The waitress I’ve had both times could be a bit friendlier, but she still done a good job. It wasn’t just my table though it was the same monotone w/all her tables. It by no means will keep me from going back!! I go on Thursday bc kids eat free & that is awesome in my book!!!! It is a very cozy atmosphere, i love the fireplace & that they actually use it & not just for a focal point in decor! During the winter months, it can get pretty cold in there island you’re seated anywhere near the door! All 4 people next to us were older (60’s/70’s) & kept their winter coats on bc they were so cold! The hostess finally shut the door that closes off the lobby & dining area, but when it opened, it was definitely cold again! I love that the chicken strips are homemade & not just out of a bag!!

Great food, the double jersey is the best and my partner says the cowboy is great, the lady with the short hair (not sure of her name) is super friendly and nice. atmosphere is good mostly it can be loud at peek times

Waited over an hour to get our food. Took the food to go. Not very busy 5 tables and 3 had already been served. Tables had food crumbs stuck in the crevices that looked a decade old. On a Thursday night dk what the hold up could’ve been. Pretty slow night

Starting right out, my waitress was very attentive and thoughtful giving recommendations when I ordered. Then the food was amazing! I had the pulled pork pony which was toast topped with waffle fries, perfectly smoked pulled pork, queso, corn salsa, and a drizzle of bbq sauce. It had the perfect amount of spice heat to it. Fantastic!
