Fujiya is beyond yummy. For anyone in the area craving Sugarfish, KazuNori, or Sushi by Scratch, highly recommend stopping here, sitting at the sushi bar, and enjoying melt-in-your-mouth fresh, playful nigiri as well as special hand rolls like the Negi Toro Uni handroll. We don’t live in Elk Grove, but any time we are visiting extended family ~40 mins away from the restaurant, we feel inspired to stop here for a delicious treat.

Friendly staff. They clear empty dishes very quickly. You get a gift when you spend over a certain dollar limit. Food was beautifully presented. I got to try the bbq albacore and miso soup only so my food review is only for those items. Might be back to try the rolls.

Fujiya is the perfect sushi spot in Elk Grove. Fresh, beautifully prepared fish, thoughtful presentation, and a menu that delivers every time. If you’re familiar with sushi in the greater Sacramento area, I’d rank it above Mikuni and just slightly below Kru….which is high praise.
The specialty rolls are creative without being over the top, the nigiri is melt-in-your-mouth fresh, and the service is always friendly and attentive.

The overall ambiance is cozy, and the food is delicious, fresh, and has a great texture.
The plating is exquisite, and you can really feel the chef’s dedication in preparing the dishes.
The owner and the servers are all very friendly.

Excellent food. Fish is amazingly fresh and expertly prepared. Dishes are well thought out and presented like artwork.
Excellent service. This is the type of service you’d expect from a fine dining establishment. They do their best to be as accommodating as possible and are very attentive.
Overall, in extremely impressed with everything here and am sure to be back. I hope to hold this standard to all sushi restaurants in the area.

We’ve been here twice and we’ll go some more if craving for delicious sushi.
So far in those two visits food was always superb! The Gucci roll(not pictured) was amazing and worth it. Did not really like their ramen, it was basic. Overall would come back here again and again.

Great food amazing service and impeccable atmosphere! Every time I come here is a great time. I love otoro and they have one of the cleanest cuts if toro here everything we had was amazing! The owners and staff were beyond friendly! Hands down my favorite sushi restaurant in the area!
