Wonderful atmosphere, great selection of drinks and finger foods. Nice to have a quite intimate conversation or a after work get together. Over 100 drinks that you can choose additional by scanning the menu. Waiter Katlyn was very professional and knowledgeable. Her suggestion on the drinks were spot on would be visiting again.

Update: 8 months later I was here again for work. I got the almond joy martini (see new pics). Still super impressed with the talented staff. They have to remember 100+ martinis, make them quickly, do it with a smile, and are organized. Just wow.
Melanie made literally the best martini I’ve ever had! Salted Caramel. As you drank it, the artwork still prevailed. Phenomenal. Bartenders are quick, this is a very well-run place.

Busy on a Saturday afternoon. Sat immediately and very friendly staff. The atmosphere was very unique and comfortable. We spent a few minutes figuring out menu. Very interesting martini choices and alot of them. We settled on a Margarita variation and an expresso martini. The staff was very helpful explaining the drink and food menu.
We ordered seared ahi tuna and kamakazi tuna. The food arrived quickly. The plates were as expected on the smaller side. The presentation was perfect and visually appetizing. The seared tuna prepared perfectly. We could cut the tuna with a fork. The side accompanying the tuna was a rich flavor filled sticky rice. The kamakazi tuna was over the top. The flavors rich with just the right amount of heat and spice. Tuna flaked apart with a fork. The washbi added the right amount of kick. The sticky rice had a similar spiciness and rounded out the over all quality of the dish. Both choices where exceptional and prepared perfectly.
We added to our meal the bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños. The bacon could have been cooked alittle more. The stuffed jalapeños where very rich with flavor and had a very fresh taste with balanced spicy kick.
The Stuffed Olive is more then we expected. At first glance you expect a franchise experience but much better quality and definitely unique. The staff needed a few more help that particular day, the 2 girls that helped us were very good at their job and makes the dining experience worth some waiting time.
Definitely experience the Stuffed Olive. Quality was over the top for the price.

Cole is hands down the best bartender at The Stuffed Olive in downtown Iowa City! From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, friendly, and made the experience outstanding. His hospitality is top-notch and absolutely the reason I’ll be coming back.

This is (sort of) a hidden gem in downtown Iowa City. Great atmosphere, fabulous martinis and the food is good, too. We went on a Monday when martinis are buy one, get one for a penny. Highly recommend the spinach artichoke dip and flatbreads. S/o to our fabulous server, Nell, for the recommendations!

Had such a great time! Taeya was serving our table and did an amazing job—super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out just right. Jenny was behind the bar and mixed up some fantastic drinks—exactly what I was hoping for. Both of them made the night a really enjoyable experience. Highly recommend stopping by if you want great service and drinks!

I was pleasantly surprised when I first walked into Stuffed Olive. For a spot surrounded by typical college bars, it feels unexpectedly upscale and classy. The martini menu is impressive with a wide variety of creative options and everything we tried was excellent. Our server Angela was warm and welcoming as she walked us through the menu, offered great recommendations, and truly elevated our experience. We ordered a flatbread and the charcuterie board and both were delicious. Overall it was a fantastic experience and a place I will definitely keep coming back to.

Great happy hour specials. A big, vibrant menu, and good classics. I didn’t get food, but the drinks were good and the staff was great. I like the interior a lot, and I worked out of there for a few hours and had a great time. Will be back when I’m in the area.
