I went to the San Diego location at Liberty Station Market. I ordered the Wicked Hot fries on top of the Captain Catch, priced around $30+. As I was eating my fries I realized that there was bacon on it, I asked the person at the register if it was supposed to have bacon on it as that wasn’t shown on the menu. They stated no. I have been a pescatarian for over 12 years, which means I don’t eat bacon as apart of my diet. I had to give the rest of my fries to my friend as I couldn’t finish eating it, that’s when she told me she thought it tasted like clam chowder and had chunks of potato’s (Like a clam chowder). So I believe I was given the clam chowder fries which has bacon on it, which was around $20. The person at the register just smiled and said there were sorry and didn’t credit me the extra $10 or anything. They were polite but I feel frustrated with the situation. This was my second time with you guys, I loved It the first time so wanted I took my friend here to enjoy. But upset with the order and how it was handled.

The lobster itself was fresh and tasted fine, but I was disappointed with the presentation of the lobster roll. Instead of being on a proper roll, it came on a single folded piece of bread with just a small serving of fries. For the price, I expected more. The bread really didn’t work for me, and it took away from the overall experience.

I don’t know what they hype is about. Mediocre at best, the other photos show buns over flowing with lobster, the two we ordered had just enough to show it was there. The canned clam Chowder was a nice touch. Def not worth the headache of going to the over crowded location for a $20 mini lobster roll and difficult parking.

Now I had lobster a couple times and I’m beginning to love it. San Diego is my hometown so I wanted to fit into the vibe and have some sea food when I visted. I saw a lot of positive comments on this place and decided to get a little taste. I ordered the lobster roll and some fries… for $45 I’m not quite impressed, maybe it was the day I came though the market was kinda packed. The top part of the lobster roll had some flavor because of the seasoning but the rest tasted a little bland. the fries had more flavor than the roll. The environment was nice but the food was okay. All in all I feel as if I could have paid $25-30 for this meal

Losbter and crab roll were flavorful and filling. We had the meal which came with a drink and a side of fries. The fries were crispy, not too greasy and not overly salty. Seating was available directly infront of the food stall. Price was about $85 total for 3 of us. Food and service were great overall.

I went to Liberty Station after a volunteer event today and decided to try Wicked Maine lobster. I ordered two lobster tacos and the garlic parmesan fries (it’s a cheat day). The lobster tacos were too saucy in my opinion. I’m not sure what kind of sauce it was, but it overpowered the taste of the lobster. I like texture to my food so some type of crunchy vegetables in the tacos would have been a great addition because they were kind of mushy. The garlic parmesan fries were delicious. I do think that the food is a bit overpriced for the quality and ambience, but I’m glad I tried it!
