Was very excited to try this burger. This was a great smash burger. We got the OG, the Popper, and fries to share. They are good sized burgers, but I did get another one before I left. So if you got a big belly to fill like myself, you might consider getting two!

Absolutely incredible burger and fries for a great price. Very friendly staff. People in the kitchen worked extremely well together and helped each other out. Chris was a beast at the grill and fries, he handled so many tasks at the same time and did an incredible job. Burgers and fries were cooked perfectly. Definitely my go to burger spot in bend!

I really enjoyed my OG gluten-free smash burger and fries. Excellent crispy burgwr edges and they put a bunch of burger sauce on the burger. Some pickles would be really nice. The fries remind me of McDonald’s but with more natural flavor.
Gluten-free bun was heated up and soft-ish, but it’s a total rip-off $4. I think it’s just an udi’s bun. If you’re hand making them and then maybe that would be reasonable.
Order took about 20 minutes to make at 6:00 on a Saturday.

Americana is a family favorite in our house and the only place we can all agree on. The burgers are the best in town and I love being able to eat there with my gluten allergy. We are always greeted with smiles and excellent service at the new location and the podski! Pricing is better than fast food around and no need to worry about eating junk as all of Americana’s food is fresh. Highly recommend!

I admit, I was skeptical about the hype, especially given how easily praise is given to simply decent burgers in Bend.
However, I report with the upmost sincerity and satisfaction that Americana likely IS, currently, the best place to get a Burger in Bend (aside from a certain fine dining secret menu that I shall keep a secret ;p).
Simply put, everything is a step up from what you’d get anywhere else, elevating it to Bend Burger Perfection.
First, the Fries. The taste of Genuine Potatoes, Perfectly seasoned with Salt AND Pepper, cut to the McDonald’s standard with none of the sad sogginess, cooked in some magical fat that tastes slightly of Bacon Grease, and a Generous portion at that for just $5!!! Literally couldn’t ask for a better fry pairing or deal from them.
Second, the OG. A certified classic, soft and melt-in-mouth texture, Perfectly seasoned, balanced, and easily crushable yet so tempting to take it slow and savor. It’s not a mind blowing Burger, but it’s reliable and always hits the spot. Plus, it’s a VERY fair price for a burger and fries in Bend!
Third, the Grilled Cheese. Fantastic cheese crisp and ooey-gooey insides that anyone would craze on a cold day. One note of caution, try to eat it at locations or as soon as possible, because, while it travels fine, the cheese crisp softens over time, and loses some of its magic… That aside, this is a great sandwich for a great value.
Finally, the Popper. ***If you ignore everything else, read this!!!!*** The Popper is pure Burger heaven! Creamy and spicy and (Good Lord!) everything you could want in a Burger! Maybe this isn’t one for the kiddos, but if you want THE best Burger in Bend, it’s right there. Legitimately crazing another already…
In conclusion, Americana does a simple menu, but with a mastery of each dish that is the clear and passionate work of a talented chef and a dedicated team. From the Service, Price, Food and everything else,(especially the cute little Mini Gummy Burgers you get with each Sandwich order! >u<), this team deserves the high praise, and Bend is lucky to have them.
