I have been going to this place since it first opened in 2008. The food was amazing for the first couple of years. I have great memories of this place and felt very attached to it for a long time as a regular customer. I would dine at least 2-3 times a week. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore. The portions are so small and the quality is not there anymore. The hired help does not seem to appreciate customers anymore. The cook seems to have an attitude and looks bothered all the time. It’s sad how much this beloved place has changed. I hope the owner does something about it.

The small restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Italian cuisine. I ordered the brick oven pizza rustica. It was a thin crust pizza and included ham, eggplant and artichoke toppings. The pizza was small and good. The calamari fritti is fried with marinara sauce. The panino con pollo is a panini with grilled chicken, mozzarella and roasted peppers. It was very good with a generous portion of chicken. Friendly and helpful staff.

Love coming here. Foods great, attentive staff and reasonable portions. For me consistency has been great which is important to a good restaurant.

This place is in rapid decline. Last night’s food was elevated in price, shrunken in size and cheap materials were used. The appetizers were shrunken, all of them and the calamari was cold on arrival. My Marsala formerly had mashed potatoes and a vegetable with it. Last night the chicken was tough and small, and the side was a small bowl of overcooked Ziti floating in chicken broth. Plus they got one of four entrees wrong and the three of us sat and our food got cold while we waited for them to prepare the correct entree. We stayed away for a while prior to last night because the last time the waiter got my wife’s order wrong and was combative about it. The absurd thing, what was given to her is something she would never order and dislikes. Yet the waiter argued on and on and tried to get us to keep his mistake. So my food got cold while we waited. We won’t be returning. Add the embarrassment of taking our friends, another couple for poor small food. It’s a shame this was our neighborhood place. No more. In short, poor quality, small quantity, elevated prices and great ambiance.

You know, some items on the menu aren’t that good, but it’s a warm and friendly place. Clearly they have regulars who go and enjoy what they like. I’m more of an occasional visitor, for many years. The fried calamari couldn’t be better, the pizzas are solid. Along with a salad and glass of wine, I’m happy. Don’t expect fine dining. The complimentary spicy olives and bread are a welcome treat. I’m a loyal, local fan in a neighborhood with so many mediocre restaurants I rarely eat out.

Very well! Great Italian food and very attentive staff. Maybe I didn’t take good photos, but the risotto, carpaccio and desserts were very tasty. Thanks!

Very tasty Italian food in Bay Ridge. The service is excellent. The pasta is perfectly cooked and goes well with their wine selection. They have a lot of interesting rotating specials so you can always try something new. Great value for the price as well!

Ok, disclaimer, I like Italian food a lot, however it’s not a common cuisine I eat a lot of. So I’m not even sure what it’s always supposed to taste like. That said, I found this place great. I loved my dish, the lobster ravioli, honestly delicious! My wife’s wasn’t great – can’t remember what it was called, it’s the oyster dish in the pics. The rest of the food was tasty, including the desserts, which I really enjoyed. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was a little crowded, and they could use an upgrade in their music and speaker system (it was a little noisy and the music kept cutting out).

This place has better Italian/Sicilian than most Manhattan restaurants!

We came in at 9pm on a weekday and ordered a few dishes to share. Their bread is delicious. Their mussels are delicious. Their salmon is delicious. Just eat there.

Love coming here. The food and service are great. However, I decided to try a classic cocktail as I saw they have a full bar. When I asked the waiter for my drink, he said it wouldn’t be an issue. They charged $16 for 1 of the worst cocktails I’ve ever had. I couldn’t finish it.

I will stick to wine when I go here. They should have someone who knows how to make cocktails or stop selling cocktails.
