Hands down the best food I’ve had in town! So flavourful and they are so friendly! Gave me a free soda today and my food is always 10/10 & a huge portion. I recommend getting the chicken or beef shawarma with cheese!

SOUL FOOD! You can see, taste, smell, and feel the love and care that’s been put into the food. I’ve eaten shawarma in Vancouver for decades and I have yet to had so much flavour packed into a shawarma plate, wrap and lentil soup. I forgot to review the first meal with rice, but even then it was spiced thoroughly.
On top of great satiating food, the owner is so friendly and warm. You can tell he has put his whole self into every meal. It’s a place to get that tried and true comfort food, and truly friendly face that makes you want to keep coming back.
On a nice day, sitting out front especially on Saturday during the Soo Market (until 2pm) would be nice to people watch. But you can’t miss it in the big blue box!

Great food and generous portion. It’s a food truck in a convenient location. Everything is great, however they take forever to prepare the food. They told us the order would take 25 minutes, but it took almost 50 minutes. I think if they can serve the food a little faster, they’d be a super hit in town!

We came right before closing and he was so kind, polite, and pleasant!! I appreciated his kindness and friendliness. I got the falafel wrap and my partner got the beef shawarma plate, and they were both so good! The flavours, quality, and the quantity are fantastic! We will definitely be back!

The best shawarma in town!! Perfect lunch spot for takeout. They have very hearth warming food. The chicken and the beef are so tender and juicy and i really love the way how they make their rice. It has a very nice smoky taste to it.

I’ll be the first to admit I know nothing about Syrian food, or food from the Middle East as a whole, but I’m pretty much willing to try anything when it’s put in fusion burrito form.
Holy hell am I glad I did!
The smell in the air coming from this converted seacan hits you from across the parking lot, and draws you right in.
I had thier chicken shawarma burrito, and while the fillings like pickles, garlic yogurt sauce and pomegranate syrup may seem unconventional, they work so damn well together with the chicken and rice.
This is likely the best thing I’ve eaten locally in a very long time!

So much going on here, so many different flavors, ingredients, textures, etc.
He doesn’t skimp on the portion size either, you’ll have enough left over for lunch! If you’re a fan of good food, order something from here!
