This is a nice hole in the wall with delicious food and a very friendly staff. The sweet tea was fresh, the sauces savory, and the main meals scrumptious. The items I ordered were heavy but the onions, chicken, and sides cooked to perfection.

Stopped by for LUNCH and was pleasantly surprised.
Without looking at a menu, I told the Manager GILSON that I wanted a cheese enchilada, one beef enchilada, and one chile relleno. He said no problem and that comes with rice and beans.
They brought red salsa and chips. The salsa was pleasant and had a hint of garlic that I really liked as well as small pieces of onion in it.
I asked Angie if they had any salsa Verde that maybe had a little bit more heat and they said sure and they went and got a bottle and a little bowl so I could try that also.
It’s not the biggest and the fanciest restaurant in town but the people and the food will probably make up for that. The big fancy places charge three or four dollars when you say you want rice and another three or four dollars when you say you want beans and he just said it comes with your meal.
I posted a photo of the plate and wish I had a ruler to lay down beside it. Most dinner plates are about 10“ and I’m guessing this one was more like 14” or 15“. BIG!

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Statesville! I am so excited that my boyfriend and I came into eat here. The prices are phenomenal, the drinks are spectacular and the food is so, so good! I can’t wait to come again next weekend to enjoy another margarita. Statesville is lucky to have this hidden gem in the community!

I have been here several times and the food is excellent with great flavors. Their red and green salsas are both equally delicious and have their own spice/heat to them. This time I enjoyed the beef chimichanga, picadillo soft taco, picadillo burrito, rice, and beans. Other can’t miss dishes are the Latin Tacos, and even the Street Tacos are a good choice.

I stopped by this place while working in the area due to all the good reviews. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. Gilson and Antonio were great. They start you off with delicious salsa, none of that tomatoe paste some restaurants serve. I have had several of their plates at lunch, and all were excellent. The morjarra I had to day was absolutely delicious. They also have very reasonable lunch and daily specials also. Photo attached. 5 stars.

Came by for dinner on a Tues eve. Been here before and food is always great. This is truly an authentic Mexican restaurant. Family owned and operated. Lots of options on menu. Of course there are the traditional tacos, enchilada’s, burritos , etc. And those are not your anything like your local Mexican chain restaurant’s serve. There is good variety of true Mexican dishes also. Full bar.
