I’m super picky when it comes to my banh mi, I haven’t eaten any since moving to the south since I’m a huge fan of a restaurant in the north. I had finally had enough and needed to get my craving fixed and I went out on a limb and got my husband to go make an order. To say I’m satisfied doesn’t even do it justice. My husband got the pork chop and rice platter and myself the beef satay sub. Well definitely be coming back and have found a place that blows my old favourite out of the water.

The food was great my husband likes the green onion cake. But unfortunately when we enter no-one offer a seat so we just look for our own table and the staff just put the menu on the table and left. The staff was not approachable and notice that she only smile to selected customers.The staff did not appear welcoming—there were no smiles, and they seemed unapproachable. It created an uncomfortable environment that took away from what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.
Hospitality plays a huge role in how customers feel, and even small gestures like a friendly greeting or a warm smile can make a big difference. I hope the management takes this feedback into consideration and invests in improving customer service. With a more positive and welcoming attitude from the team, this restaurant has great potential to provide a truly outstanding experience. I look forward to seeing positive changes in the future.

We have been several times to this restaurant and it never failed us. Our favourite is the special pho. The broth is rich without overpowering all the other elements of the dish. If you want to eat pho in Calgary, this is the place to go. Their onion bread is also worth a try.

Ordered two Sate beef Vietnamese subs and shrimp salad rolls. The subs weren’t horrible (not great though) but were definitely not sate and even though I asked for extra jalepenos, there was such little spice.
The salad rolls had almost no noodles, only iceberg lettuce – no other veggies.
Overall, it just wasn’t satisfying and was underwhelmed. I wouldn’t go back there even if someone offered to buy my meal.

Came for the famous deep fried onion pancake. Never had anything like it before. I honestly didn’t really like it as it wasn’t that flavourful most of the flavour came from the (regular plain?) mayonnaise. I prefer thin and flaky, onion, pancake.
The chicken sauté for did not have a lot of chicken flavor, but it did have a decent amount of meat and the sauté sauce was addictive. I drank every drop.
The house was a lot “beefier” in the broth. Like you can actually taste the meat unlike the chicken pho. We liked this one a lot.
Our 2 soup + onion pancake came up to $70+ tip. The soup starts at $17 then additional cost for large and different toppings like oxtail.

We visited the establishment due to the presence of at least four Vietnamese restaurants in close proximity to our Airbnb. The decor is elegantly designed with clean lines and a sophisticated ambiance. Although the waitress did not speak Vietnamese, we were able to place our orders effectively by referencing the menu’s numbering system.
The sandwiches offered do not align with traditional Vietnamese sub-style sandwiches, as they lack pâté, which diminishes their authenticity. The pho lacked a robust depth of flavor, and the surcharge of nine dollars for two small pieces of oxtail appeared to be excessive. Additionally, the Nuoc Cham accompanying the rice and vermicelli dishes was too salty, necessitating personal adjustments to the seasoning.
Overall, while the atmosphere is pleasant, the culinary offerings fall short in delivering the authenticity and characteristic flavors of southern Vietnam.

What a great little spot to come across in a strip mall in Mahogany with free parking out front. Limited seating. Super clean and friendly efficient staff. Ordered vermicelli rice bowls (Bun Bo Hue) and the vermicelli was a flavourful white noodle we’d not had before. Beautiful presentation and very nice flavours. Awesome spring rolls. Average price $16 which is decent. Worth checking out for sure!
