This is one of my favorite BBQ spots in Norman. I always get the Heisman on Texas toast and macaroni with their seasoning on it, and it’s great.
We have been coming here for years, and their staff is always friendly, efficient, and eager to serve you.
They have many menu options. I’ve had most of them, and they all taste great! We will keep coming here as long as it is open.

This location is great, I didn’t know you can substitute a side for a rib. BBQ is tender and the ribs were delicious. Free flowing sauce on tables sweet, hickory and spicy. Sauce and spice available for sale

My favorite BBQ! We drive up from Dallas for this; always consistent quality and friendly service. Ribs are phenomenal, pulled pork is the best around, and their jalapeno cheddar hot links are great. Really good sauces too. While I’m at it, love that mac & cheese and corn, while my wife always goes for the baked potato salad.

Very nice place with and incredible college football decorations and memorabilia. Service was very good. Got the one meat plate with sliced brisket, baked beans, and potato salad. All were good but the brisket was just a bit dry. The bbq sauce helped. The price was a bit high for what was served.

First time trying this restaurant. I ordered a chopped brisket sandwich and a side of potato salad. I received a pulled pork sandwich with baked beans. The pulled pork is definitely boiled in a bag . Probably will not order again. $40.00 wasted. Vans is more authentic.

Guys, if you try Billy Sims brisket, you will hate anything with the name brisket. Dry dry dry. I have to eat it because I payed for it. It’s a waste.

I first ate at this Billy Sims restaurant about two months ago while meeting with a group. Since then it’s become a go-to spot for all sorts of events, from meals out with my wife to casual lunches with friends.
It’s kind of weird that I’m writing a glowing review of this store because quite frankly, I’d had not-so-great experiences at another Billy Sims restaurant several years ago. I’d avoided the chain altogether since then. When I walked in I was not happy our group chose this location to meet. But I walked out pleasantly surprised.
People primarily go to restaurants for good food, and excels in that area. Everything I’ve tried has been tasty and warm. I love that meats are smoked in such a way that the process enhances them instead of smothering the true flavors.
Billy Sims sauces really complement their meats. Nothing I’ve ordered has been greasy, which can’t be said of all BBQ places.
Portions are good while prices are reasonable, resulting a great value. Staff members have always been friendly and patient while I decide on which new thing to try on that visit.
Their dining room and prep area has always been clean, with plenty of parking just outside the door…two things I really appreciate.
I’ve now eaten here four times, and for one visit traveled 20 miles one way for a meal. I suppose that makes the place a “local destination restaurant.”
If you’re looking for some really good barbecue at a reasonable price, stop in here. Maybe you’ll be as delighted with it as I am.
