Nice little hole in the wall taco spot so you know it’s on point. Them schmancy DC taco spots that keep you hungry and are ridiculously expensive have nothing on this place. Just good food at a good price.

We’ve eaten inside the restaurant for lunch and we’ve taken food to-go. Both experiences were great! For lunch, my husband and I sat in restaurant and were the only ones there. Food came out fast and it was nice and clean inside. We got the queso con birria tacos and they were the best ones I’d ever had! So perfectly cooked and the consomé was delicious!
When we ordered to-go, we tried new things and our kids got food as well. Just as delicious and perfectly cooked. Highly recommended!

The tacos are great! I love the tacos de tripas! Real good food and great service. The new owner is great with customers and is revamping the place. Lots of new good changes compared to the past. I love seeing my taco spot grow under new management. Keep up the good work Taco Jalisco Great Job!

The woman who took my order was kind. However, I was immediately annoyed by their setup. You order and pay at the front and then go seat yourself… or so I thought. I sat down and waited and then was told I needed to go get my own food. Long story short, I thought I was coming to a restaurant to enjoy tacos and margaritas, but I basically came to a fast food joint. The tacos are good (1beef and 2chicken especial), but now I have to find somewhere else to get a margarita…. and chips and salsa I don’t have to pay for.
UPDATE: I wrote that review when I was halfway through my first taco… halfway through my second and I upchucked… I don’t eat out a lot so my body immediately rejects bad food… no way I’l be back! I didn’t even bother asking for a refund

I just tried the Carne Asada fries, they were good but, it didn’t come with what was advertised. It was supposed to come with the steak, guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, jalapeños, cheese and seasoned fries. Mine just had the steak, plain avocados, sour cream, cheese, very little tomatoes and plain fries that weren’t crispy. It was good but I just wished it looked like the other picture in the google reviews or I wish they would have told me they didn’t have the ingredients or whatever the problem was. Especially for $12.

I went there for lunch with 3 co workers and purchased food for myself and one other person……the food was not good……I ended up tossing 80%of it in the trash…..one other person did the same. I asked for black beans and got refried beans instead. I ask for sour cream……received nothing….the prices were a little high and the portions were small based on what one would normally get …..2 street tacos, refried beans for 2 people 32 dollars with a 5 dollar tip. I will never step foot back in that business
