The food and staff were very good. Lacey our server took very good care of us and recommended some of our menu fare as this was our first visit and we weren’t sure what we should get. We weren’t disappointed. Thank you Lacy for your help and positive vibes that gave us a great experience. (I spelled her name both ways cause we weren’t sure which one it was.)

Kinda dingy and tacky. Food was okay. Our server Cheyanne was really nice and helpful. Weird older guy that works there is kinda creepy. Just walked around talking to people. Kinda rude and was really…. touchy to some employees. Pretty awkward. But the service was great. Prices are fair. Food was.. okay. Cheyanne made the difference for us.

Well me and John love trying new places and today it was in Boonville Indiana at a place called Yesterdaze. Walking in it was a bit cramped and feels a bit rickety but still looks cool inside. You seat yourselves and it took about 10 min to be waited on. We placed our order and waited. And waited. And waited some more. A old man in the company shirt was going around to all the tables chit chatting. He told people do not expect the food to come out quick. If you want that then you may as well leave. We’ll wish we knew that before ordering. Well finally my eggs and potatoes came out bit my biscuits and gravy and John’s food was still not ready. I tried to wait. UT John said to eat while it was hot. Food was ok for what it was. Fi ished all my food and still no B&G or John’s omelet and potatoes. After 30 min I guess we looked upset cause a different waitress was going around checking on people. We didn’t want to say anything but she insisted. She offered to make his food ASAP but he said cancel it. I did get my Biscut and gravy but was so peppery I couldn’t eat it. Another 16 min and we got our check. All this time and our waitress never checked on us. Oh his food was given to wrong table!.

I had a lovely lunch with the missus. I am very picky about coffee but there wasn’t a thing I didn’t like of my food. From the sauces to the friendly waitress overall a positive experience. My favourite thing would be the chicken livers.

Stopped in for breakfast but we just missed it, our server actually handed us breakfast menus by accident. Hence, my only suggestion would be to have a limited brunch menu for us out-of-towners coming through on late Saturday mornings. By the time we had checked out and made it into town, then drove around the square twice finding out that parking was across the way at the park, it was around 10:30. Lucky for me, my disappointment quickly turned to delight. I ordered a simple classic and sometimes that’s all you need to know you’ve found a hidden gem. My grilled cheese and vegetable soup was on point! I usually take pics but my lunch and my husband’s BLT were gone before I remembered. They also have a bar in the basement with a spiral iron staircase or outside staircase to enter which we think is SUPER neat and kinda feels like a secret.. (There is a sign though) We’ll be back, I love a local spot with a warm welcome for visitors.

One incredible waitress worked her butt off taking care of the entire restaurant. My food portion must have been from the weight watchers menu, one very small omelet and it took 47 minutes to prepare.
