What a great place! From the second you walk in, it’s very nice and has a very comfortable atmosphere. The decor is really nice. They have a full bar , a bakery section , and a great selection on the menu. Our server was very nice and our food was excellent . The price was great for what we got. There was plenty of seating, also an area for your personal party. The restaurant was VERY clean ✨. I would 100% recommend this place! We can’t wait to get back and try some other things off the menu. #restaurant #atmosphere #decor #bar #bakery #food #service #price #seating #cleanliness #recommendation #menu

Went today for brunch and everything was AMAZING! Our waiter Rio was great! He was very personable, attentive, knowledgeable and an all around great waiter! I had the avocado toast which was delicious. My friend had an omelette with a side of bacon and potatoes. She said the potatoes were excellent and very flavorful and the omelette was light and fluffy! If you haven’t been, you need to try it!

Stopped in for breakfast one morning and already can’t wait to go back for lunch and dinner. We had the shrimp & grits and the brisket bowl. Food and service were both top notch. The restaurant is gorgeous and I love the offer a private room if needed for large parties. Great drink selections with beautiful bar area. Definitely an asset to NMB. We needed this addition to the restaurant scene.

We had a get together with a friend and we were absolutely blown away with Honey Barrel . Kayden our server was excellent, she welcomed us, was friendly and gave us our time to decide on part of our meal . The food was phenomenal, we enjoyed oyster Rockefeller, and French onion soup for appetizers. Our meals were a special beef stroganoff, a filet and an order of lobster ravioli. All were amazing in size and flavor. I definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast or dinner .

Honey Barrel is a beautiful new spot in North Myrtle Beach that you don’t want to miss! The atmosphere is elegant and modern, yet still warm and inviting perfect for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The food is outstanding, with every dish tasting fresh and full of flavor, and the presentation is top-notch. The full bar is a great touch, offering mimosas, cocktails, and great coffee options to pair with your meal. The staff is friendly, attentive, and truly makes you feel welcome. A classy, relaxing place that sets the bar high for local dining highly recommend! Can’t wait to be back with the ladies.

Ambience- and décor-wise, the restaurant is very pleasant, nicely done and definitely Instagram-worthy. The space feels welcoming and well designed.

However, service was a bit lacking. It took a while before anyone greeted us, and overall the service felt slow. The staff seemed more focused on getting through their shift rather than making sure customers were having a good dining experience, which took away from the overall atmosphere.

Now, onto the food. We started with the poke appetizer. It wasn’t bad, but compared to other poke bowls I’ve tried, it wasn’t a favorite. It mainly consisted of spinach and mixed greens with cucumbers, and the only sauce provided was soy sauce to dip the tuna. For the price, it is very pricey.

For my entrée, I ordered my usual favorite: shrimp and grits. It wasn’t the worst, but also not the best. The dish felt more like a soup due to the amount of sauce. Unfortunately, the shrimp was overcooked, and the sausage had a slightly bitter flavor. While the sauce flavor was there, the texture missed the mark.

My husband ordered a burger. The fries arrived cold, and the burger patty had a bitter, overly smoky taste, possibly from the flat top or being cooked at too high a temperature.

Overall, I hope the food and service improve, especially since this is a newly opened business. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend dining here at the moment, but I might consider giving it another try in the future where employees and cook are more experienced.
