Loui, Donna, and MJ were a delight. The Margerita & Bianca pizza was AMAZING!!! Super nice folks and incredible pizza. Definitely a must stop every time I’m in the area.

Visited Louie’s as a first time diner today, ordered the Bianca w/ extra Pepperoni and Garlic Knots. The Pizza was fantastic, great flavor and the ricotta was great on it, and the crust was solid. The Knots were another story, they tasted alright but they were rock solid and I had to set them in garlic butter to soften up some. Service was great, ordered to go so I can’t speak much on the dine in atmosphere. Overall would 100% go back for the pizza, but probably skip the knots next time.

Without doubt the best quality pizza in the north Alabama area and beyond. Came in with limited expectations, and was blown away! I’ve had pizza in New York, Philly, Jersey and much more and this place is as good if not better than anything I’ve ever tried from the best pizza joints. Cannot recommend this place enough. Louie is an amazing character and treated me and my friends amazing! His help and employees are the sweetest people I’ve met in a long time. He offered us an additional plate of fresh tomatoes and mozzarella with Basel and their signature seasonings. My taste buds are dancing with joy! LOVE THIS PLACE!

Food and service is phenomenal! Pizza dough is the best in the area and the philly cheesteak bread is the best any where around here. Very friendly and for the price, I would rather pay for quality than any of these franchise joints around here. From the mid-west and this will be the only pizza joint I will visit when I’m in town. This place is delicious. We sought it out from seeing the Gadsden Times. The food was AMAZING. Our family LOVED everything we tried! We all tried each other’s food and not one item was less that delicious! If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the Philly Cheesesteak, but there wasn’t one item that wasn’t delicious! The calzones were crispy all around and not too doughy like some places. We bought pickles when we arrived (Sweet Horseradish and Double Dill) and ate on them while we dined… so much so that we had to buy another container of each before we left! Seating is a little limited, but allows a front-row view of the process. We were even able to talk with owner Lou Consoli who was extremely friendly. This place was worth our detour!!! (The pics of the pickles were taken shortly after we bought them. We couldn’t stop eating them. They didn’t stand a chance! )

Finally tried Louie’s Pickles yesterday… and boy can I say the pizza is fantastic!!! The seating is poor with only barstools but we made it work with two babies. If you have small children takeout is a better option. Honestly, the pizza is the top 3 best I’ve ever had. The guy making the pizzas was playing with my 1 year old every time he turned around and I thought that was sweet. We bought the 16” meat lovers.

I tried the Stromboli and garlic knots on our lunch. The garlic knots were huge and so good. The Stromboli’s comes in 2 different sizes. I bought the large one for me and my daughter and we had enough to both eat left overs that night for dinner. The breading is perfection. It is definitely a must to try. I have had their pizza also, and the crust is a perfect consistency with a crispy bottom and airy.
