Just had an amazing meal at Nha Trang Restaurant and I’m already planning my next visit. I ordered the bun Bo hue and it was everything I wanted. The broth had the perfect kick of spice without overpowering the rich flavors. Every bite was comforting and bold at the same time. My niece had the pho and she loved it. The broth was so fragrant and clean, with fresh herbs and toppings that made it even better.

This is a family owned spot and you can taste the care in every dish. The service was warm, the food came out fresh, and it felt like eating at someone’s home. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food that hits all the right notes, this is the place. Nha Trang Restaurant has definitely earned a permanent spot on my list.

This is our go to place for pho! The broths are so savory and flavorful and the service is great, very family friendly. We also love the beef spring rolls and crab egg rolls. A must try in Monterey Park. 10/10.

First time here. The BBH IS FIRE! The grilled pork summer rolls was also really good! The pho was a bit too salty and I like salty food but they need to cut back just a touch and it would be perfect. Highly recommend

I saw a IG reel about this place, so a few friends and I flew down to LA for a day trip to try this place out and of course to explore LA! The bun bo hue here was amazing! My friend even commented on how they could see the bottom of my bowl and asked if I need to order another!

Their BBH isn’t very spicy, but they give you chili oil in a little to-go cup. The extra chili oil really gave it an extra kick that it needed! There was also a ton of meat in the bowl also. It was a little disappointing that the pig knuckle was really thinly sliced. I was able to finish the knuckle in two bites. The two pieces of blood jelly had a nice bounce to it.

I’m not totally sure if there is a parking lot because I just parked on the street out front of the store.

Found my favorite noodle here. Their signature dish and the best I ever taste is their Bún bò Huế. Place is small but no line. There are more than one locations if this business operate by different families. The Monterey Park location taste the best.

This charming hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese eatery is a true hidden gem. While the space may be modest, the flavors coming out of the kitchen are anything but. The menu is refreshingly simple, focusing on quality over quantity, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the generous portions they serve. It’s the perfect spot for a quick, satisfying meal that doesn’t break the bank.

The pho is a standout—rich, aromatic broth with layers of savory depth, paired with tender meat and perfectly cooked noodles. It’s the kind of dish that warms your soul and keeps you coming back. Their noodles are equally delightful, with just the right balance of chewiness and flavor. And don’t even get me started on the egg rolls! Whether you go for the light, fresh summer rolls or the golden, crispy fried egg rolls, each bite is a burst of authentic, well-balanced flavors.

The vibe of the place adds to its charm. It has an unpretentious, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a well-kept secret among locals. The cozy setting makes it an ideal spot for a casual lunch or a low-key dinner.

Honestly, I’m almost hesitant to share this review because I know it will only make the lunchtime lines longer—but this place is too good not to recommend! Whether you’re a Vietnamese food enthusiast or just looking for something hearty and delicious, this eatery is well worth a visit.

I can’t remember how I found Nha Trang Restaurant, maybe it was an online review or a reddit recommendation but they were absolutely right on the quality of Vietnamese food here. The best Bún bò Huế noodles we’ve ever had. The pork blood tofu was plump like a water balloon, fresh and nearly tasteless – no hint of blood at all. The noodles a round rice noodle and the spiciness was light.

Weekends offer the Pho Ga, chicken pho. Slightly sweet with medium wide rice noodles. Tender chicken, possibly poached and then shredded slightly.

Did I mention the free complimentary fried pork spring rolls hot from the fryer? Delicious.

Service was cordial. The atmosphere was inviting.

The only bun bo hue I’ll get outside of little Saigon!
Typically I go get Vietnamese food in little Saigon since I’m from there and no other Viet food compares for the price.
However, this particular Saturday evening it would’ve been more of a drive, so I decided to try this spot! Price was pretty reasonable, portions were huge and from the first sip of my broth, I could tell it was delicious.
Also bonus point for the owners children who were running around and kept my baby entertained while she was eating so my husband and I could actually eat!

This place’s OG enough w/o my review but man. Been years since I came and it tastes the same if not better. Can’t decide bun bo hue or bun Rieu? Ask for a small bowl of em on the side (few bucks or whatever). I wish these kind of places will stay forever

Got the beef pho and tomato crab noodle soup. They tasted super light and not salty at all. Parking’s a bit tough—the lot out back is tiny, so ended up parking across the street, which was no big deal. The food was really good; it tasted just like homemade food. It was a Saturday, so service was slow, but it was a solid meal overall!
