I stopped by tonight at this specific location because I worked late and wanted to be closer to home after eating. I fully intended to dine in, but after being ignored by several staff members AFTER they stared at me directly, not caring to say “we’ll be right with you” or even saying “hello” and then 20 minutes later, being acknowledged ONLY AFTER the food delivery man who came in AFTER ME was greeted and pointed to me saying, “he’s been waiting since I came in”……it was only THEN, that I was approached. I wish GOOD customer service existed among restaurant chains CONSISTENTLY, but it’s just not the case. I eventually got my food (I wasn’t about to drive somewhere else as tired as I was), and then got home to see that they didn’t even fill my fries up – this is a medium portion fry in a large container!!!! McDonald’s, please do better!! Maybe there’s been no real push to fix anything because we’re still going to purchase the food while complaining about the incompetence, but at some point, why not just take a book from some of your peers and boost up the standard on customer service????? It goes a looooooooong way!!!! It could mean someone (I am someone) frequenting your location because it’s closest, or going somewhere further because they will feel seen/acknowledged and respected for monies they’re spending!!
When we walked in, there was absolutely nobody running the front of the house. We were forced to order through the kiosk which took so much longer than if we ordered with a live human being. Not only that, but there was an annoying alarm that was going off non stop for over at least 3 minutes. I won’t be back.
As a new location, they advertised a Grand Opening Deal of the Day. The advertised meal for today is a $6.99 Filet-o-Fish meal that is more expensive than buying the items by themselves.
They have a Filet-o-Fish Meal for a normal price of $8.59+tax that like all meals, comes with the sandwich, medium fries, and medium fountain drink with upcharge for sweet tea.
The Filet-o-Fish meal deal on Fridays is advertised at $6.99+tax that comes to ~ $7.59 after tax. The problem is it doesn’t come with fries so in reality it is a Filet-o-Fish w/medium drink only.
If I buy the items by themselves, not under any “deal,” it comes to $7.01 AFTER tax. So the the “meal” isn’t an actual meal, and it’s more expensive than buying the sandwich and drink as individual items.
This is, whether unintentional or not, deceptive and misleading, and leads to customers paying more under the guise of a “special deal.”
Food and Atmosphere – It’s a clean McDonald’s that serves McDonald’s quality food. I’d give 5 stars, but their McMuffins tend to be chewy and not soft how I prefer.
