If you’re looking for very authentic Indian food, this is the spot! Every dish I’ve tried has been absolutely amazing. I’ve had the tikka masala, curry, vindaloo, and chicken biryani and honestly, all of them are soooo good. The chicken tikka masala is definitely my favorite though. The flavor is rich, perfectly spiced, and super satisfying.
They also have this sweet sauce that I’m obsessed with, I haven’t been able to find anything like it anywhere else! It adds the perfect touch to the meal.
One thing I really love is their combo option where you can choose 2 or 3 entrées with rice or naan. It’s such a great deal, and the portion size is generous — easily enough for at least 2 people.
Great flavor, great portions, and truly authentic taste. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Had the chicken karahinand veggie korma with rice combo meal. There was an ample portion and everyone at the table enjoyed their meal and cleaned their plate. Chicken tikka masala was also great. Service was quick

You know it’s gonna be fire when they play Bollywood movies in the restaurant. Indian Rasoi is the best Indian food in Ventura County. I love going with friends and ordering the bigger plate so we can have a lil taste of all the different dishes. I love how they have this option for the smaller portions of different dishes. 10/10 <3

Cute place and the food was outstanding. Their loaded bowl is really great. Ask for the tamarind chutney on the side, though. They put it on the dish and it competes too much with the rest of the entree. I will definitely go back.

Ask for the special edition off menu chicken tikka masala taco and you’ll be happy!

Lord, this was magnificent. Is it a taco? Honestly, hard to say. But as a food experience, it’s unforgettable.

What you get is tender chicken tikka masala—pretty sure it’s breast meat—tucked into a lightly crunchy naan instead of a tortilla. It’s rich, creamy, and beautifully spiced. Then comes the green sauce. It’s mint, it’s vibrant, and you absolutely need it to get the full effect. Without it, you’re missing half the story.

There are chunky red onions in the mix, so be ready for that bite. It’s stupidly messy, in the best way. You’re going to end up with sauce on your hands, your plate, maybe your shirt, and you won’t care at all.

If you’re craving a classic taco, this might not hit that exact spot. But if you’re into flavor, this is a must. Indian food wrapped in a taco-ish form, from a family-run spot that clearly puts love into every bite. Don’t skip this one.

O! What a fantastic find! We were looking to get some chole bhature and after calling a bunch of places which kept denying us or not having it despite having it on their menu, we stuck gold when we called Indian Rasoi.

The food was freshly prepared and to our taste. We asked for the special of the day and were told we can order anything as everything is made to order and fresh.

The food was fresh and yummy and so, so good I literally just gobbled everything down.

If you want to try mind-blowing Indian food, definitely give them a try. Whenever I’m back in California, I’ll be back for more! Also, for the curious, yes, the meats are halal! For the Instagram inclined, it’s smack opposite the Greetings from Ventura sign.

The BEST indian place around! Staff are very friendly and fast with serving. Decor is beautiful and tasteful. Music videos being played really makes it a fun experience. Most of all, the food is top notch at a great price. Cannot recommend enough!

Amazing place. We happened to be here while driving back home from Santa Monica. Service is good, food is top notch. The girl at the counter is super friendly and offers great choice too. We ordered aloo paratha, aloo tiki chat, bowl combo which had rice and lamb curry and also took a portion of chicken tikka masala and 2 garlic butter naan. Came to around $65 plus some taxes. Worth every cent. Love the vibes here. Seems they started the place just 5 years back but going strong.

It was between 3 and 4 stars so I rounded up because they have gluten free items. The restaurant is cute and priced in the lower range for Ventura. There were some vegetarian options but I did not try them. I am celiac and did fine with the chicken tiki masala. My husband had the lamb curry. We thought that they had a nice level of spice but not a lot of taste. We are pretty hard on our restaurants because we rarely eat out and want to crave the food for the next few days. We have had 4 different tiki Masala since we moved to SoCal and have not been impressed with any of them. We felt that this one was OK. We will keep the search going. If you go to Denver we highly recommend Yak and Yetti, the ones in Arvada and Westminster. The bathroom was dirty. It had a thick layer of dust on the sink and the toilet was dirty. There was a dog inside the restaurant laying down while the owners ate. It was well behaved and we love dogs but we always eat on a patio with ours. I am not sure how sanitary it is to have them inside. The kitchen is open for everyone to see the cook making the food. The kitchen looked clean. Overall, we would go back but would most likely go to Rice by Mama’s for our curry.
