Nice little place in Kenner. Their food is extremely good and portions are huge. You can easily split a dish with another person. My dad is from Nicaragua and he approves this place. Definitely worth the drive if you live closer to the city or somewhere else.

Head the steak with chimichurri. The food is phenomenal. Very limited English, so be prepared if you don’t speak Spanish.
The food is fresh and flavorful. The service is warm.

All around neutral about my experience with this restaurant. Im happy to see that business is supported by the local Central American community, but the atmosphere isn’t very welcoming to outsiders. First experience with Nicaraguan food and I’m not sure if the food is mediocre or I’m terrible at ordering.

LOVE this restaurant!! Workers are polite and food is always great here! We drive from Houma about 2 times a week to eat here. Best fajitas, breakfast, tortillas, cacao, and EVERYTHING! If you want THE BEST Central American food, come here 🙂
Owner is wonderful! ~Nicole

I grew up with authentic food from Nicaragua and this is as close to perfect as I’ve tried. And it’s real gallo pinto!
