I was walking to Main Street on a hot summer day but, needed to stop here and chill out for a moment. I asked the older, larger, & balder gentleman if I could order some water which they replied; “Nope! We are not doing this shit!” Which really threw me off, it seemed as if they thought I was trying to pull one over on them. Then disappeared for minutes. Them I offered to buy something for it and he agreed and gave me a very small glass, larger than a shot glass, smaller than your normal glass. Food gets a 1 because i didn’t get to try it, service gets a 2 since he eventually agreed to serve me some water. Atmosphere is 1 because even though it’s a dive bar the employee have no charisma or empathy. Even Pete’s garage will treat you better.

I stopped in here late tonight after visiting Oshkosh for business and it was awesome! The hot dogs were delicious and affordable and the service was great, very friendly bartender. I’m honestly not the “dive bar” type nor am I a local but this place wasn’t intimidating at all, just warm welcoming service at great prices. I’ll be back!

I love to go here with my dad, and whenever we are in Oshkosh we go here because we have good memories at this place. However when my dad went today, he forgot to lock his car and remembered when he was in the doorway. So he grabbed his keys from his pocket and locked the door. Then the manager yelled at him for opening the door for thirty seconds, when all he meant to do was lock his car. Look, I love this place, but yelling at someone like that for something so small is pathetic. Especially when the employees are more kind, and understanding, when the manager is supposed to be somewhat of a role model. Disappointing.

Bob thinks it’s okay to put hands on people who accidently tip a glass of ice. Hotdogs are not as good as they used to be. Plus kinda pricey. Julie is cool though.

I only stopped in for the chili dogs. They were excellent. I’m sure their drinks are great too. If you need bread bags for your feet this winter, they have a pile of them 3 feet tall. Great view of the railroad tracks. Parking is limited, so get there early.

I can get a lunch here for under $10! Two chili dogs – using an approximately 100yr-old chili recipe – a candy bar, and a soda. It’s a cozy and quaint little dive that non-locals should definitely check out – if only for the chili dogs.
I haven’t ordered any alcohol from here – due to reasons involving driving – but I’ve seen some decent liquor and beer ready for serving.
