Tried for a second time – I didn’t think it could get worse, only better, right? I was wrong. Asked to sit outside – service sucked, again. Didn’t bring out whole order together, again. Forgot my son’s food this time. So me & the hubs were done eating and our son sat there another 20 min waiting for his food. We don’t expect anything good from this place. Twice is not the charm.
We probably won’t be back anytime soon until they can get it running right and will stick with Chili’s on Millerville – they’ve got their stuff together.
They have a long way to go. Went for lunch today and it was a disaster.
Got our drinks and appetizer right .
My husband’s order was wrong, then took so long to correct we had to leave – they boxed it up to go when they were bringing the corrected order – and it is still wrong.
I got my food and it was right, but the broccoli was gross.
My son ordered the sliders, they came out wrong, sent back, then took so so so long to get the corrected order. All they had to do was add cheese.
Check was wrong. Had to do a refund. Disaster from beginning of that hour and 30 min until the end. Not too sure we’ll be back anytime soon – until they get their stuff together.
Manager apologized, gave gift card, but it was just obtuse the service we received from our waitress, to the manager, to the kitchen.
Hopefully it was just an off day.
We’ll let you know on the third try.
I sent an email same day with that information and never heard back.
Manger reached out and comped with gift card. That is all I ask is that bad food is at least recognized by management and my opinion matters and is listened to.
I came in with a party of three and immediately got bad vibes. The hostess didn’t greet us or ask how many for a table—she just grabbed menus, nearly ran into one of us without saying excuse me or apologizing, and told us to follow her. After seating us, the only thing she said was, “Your server will be with you shortly.”
Twenty minutes passed and no one ever came to take our drink order. During that time, four different waitresses walked right past our table without acknowledging us at all, even though the restaurant was basically empty. Instead of serving customers, they were focused on sweeping the floors in the same aisle where we were seated and cleaning tables that hadn’t even been used by previous customers.
We eventually decided to leave and informed the hostess that no one had come to serve us. Her response was extremely unprofessional—no apology, no attempt to get a server, and no offer to take our drinks. Instead, she rolled her eyes, twirled her hair, and looked down at her phone.
If you’re planning to go to Walk-On’s, I strongly suggest avoiding the Central location. I understand this is a newly opened restaurant, but based on our experience and similar complaints I’ve heard about servers disappearing on the job, this place has serious management and service issues. If this is how things are being run, their future doesn’t look promising.
