Tucked away in the mall is a true hidden gem serving authentic Mexican food with a creative twist. The menu feels thoughtfully tailored, offering flavors that are both traditional and a little unexpected in the best way. Every dish we tried came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The food felt top-tier from the first bite to the last.
The service made the experience even better. Our waitress was attentive and seemed genuinely happy to help with anything we needed, which made the whole meal relaxed and enjoyable. Between the outstanding food and the great service, this place easily stands out from the typical mall dining options. We’ll definitely be back. I wish I took photos of our food! The lime rice was 10/10!
The kids menu was full of options and easily customizable. We got the kids chicken strips and they were eaten up!
Gracias por todo!

A hidden gem. Love their huge prickly Pear margaritas with tajin on the rim. The fajitas are fabulous. I prefer this place over Tres Amigos and La Familia. The food is better and the staff are very attentive.

We went on a Saturday night , was not busy at all . It looked like they only had one waitress working, so service was a Lil slow . I like the thinner light chips they serve and the salsa was good. It took a Lil while to get both of our food plates out. The steak Fajitas were good , good taste and tender , good portion of meat. Beans and rice were good too. Overall it was a good meal.

Came here on Saturday wasn’t too busy at all we were able to get our food quickly and on time. The food was okay only improvements I would make would be to the salsa (needs a little more spice). Definitely will come back at a later time. Overall we had a good time.

This place is the real deal. If you’re craving authentic Latin cuisine, this is your place. The entire place is an out of this world experience. Every time we go I order something different to try. There’s a spacious banquet room for parties, meetings, or just a “framily” gathering that is well accommodating. Trust me, you will be pleasantly surprised in the entire experience.

Found this place while in Lawton and wanted to try a different Mexican restaurant. It’s located on the north side of the Lawton Mall.
We arrived around 6:30pm and there wasn’t much people there, should’ve be our first clue but we went anyways.
Wife and I were quickly seated, chips and salsa was brought out promptly. Chips are crisp but we both didn’t care for the salsa as it was more of a sweet flavored without any kick. The wife ordered the steak quesadillas which had plenty of meat in them but the cheese wasn’t too our liking.
I had the chicken soup / Caldo De Pollo, had good flavor with plenty of shredded chicken, zucchini, carrots and potatoes and some corn. It was served with rice, which was moist and delicious.
Service was slow as well. Just not for us but they succeed.

This is mine and my ohana (family) of 5 favorite places to eat when we’re in the mood for some authentic Mexican food. Unfortunately, this and Ted’s are the only mexican style restaurants in town that don’t offer complimentary queso with the salsa and chips upon arrival. Needless to say, we have only dined at Ted’s maybe three times in the past 10-15 yrs. Here, the option is to purchase the queso, and it starts at $9.99, so that’s definitely something to keep in mind before dining. One of the appeals when it comes to going to a Mexican style restaurant for our family especially is free chips, salsa, and queso. With that said, my husband and I take advantage of the $7 Sunday frozen fruit margarita specials and the $5 House Margarita Mondays. Always nice sized, delicious and well worth ordering everytime. For a starter, I always order the Mexican shrimp cocktail and occasionally a house guacamole. The size and amount of shrimp and avocado they provide in the shrimp cocktail are nearly perfect. The guac is by far the tastiest I’ve had to date. Unfortunately, the only downfall for me personally is that I need more chunks of fresh avocados in the cocktail and a much bigger bowl of the guac. For our main meals, Z Hubby regularly orders an El Grand Molcajete. It’s served in a lava rock style bowl, which comes out hot and sizzling to the table. The amount of meats, large shrimp and mixture of onions, bell peppers, Mexican cheese, and even a lil cactus was a nice touch. The only complaint again is that this item only comes with 3 warm tortillas and one small plate of rice and refried beans together. It’s definitely big enough to serve two adults, and it would be nice to offer it w/ a double side and tortilla option. Would like to see the option to double the sides and amount of tortillas in the very near future even for a lil’ upcharge. Our young adult sons order the Carne Asada Y Camarones. It is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, and I’m not a steak kine of girl. However, this dish is super flavorful and so well executed each time. All in all our family really enjoys this restaurant and the amazing food and drinks they offer. We always get the same one server/ bartender (possibly owner or management) that always takes care of me and my entire family every time we visit. We have become his regulars at this point. He offers such a great attitude and customer care service each and every time. I only wish I could remember his name. We are always so grateful for his attentiveness. Other than the amazing quality and quantity of the food, he is one of the reasons we choose to dine at La Grand Cantina in the Lawton Central Mall.
