This place is a gem to be visited. Our 2nd time there once in summer and most recently this Holiday season. The sincerity of the hospitality is amazing, warm true welcomes, as you walk in. Then vibe an atmosphere is as if youre invited i to someones home, (which the venue is decored as). Warm an charming, the beer is perfect and cold, the Lobster Roll sandwich is the best Ive ever I had and I was based in Boston 14 years as an airline pilot. It doesn’t make me an expert but well versed. Souvenirs are available, the bar area perfectly blended in, and the views, oh the views! Dining area has breath taking views of the smokey Mountains. My only eye raise is when u leave, located on a winding mountain road, youre in a blind spot for the uphill vehicles. Use caution, other than that I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

I just moved to the area from Texas and see this little restaurant when I drive back and forth from my house to the local mountains. I decided to stop in. The restaurant is very charming inside. Don’t be afraid of all of the bikes that are lined up, everyone is super nice here. The menu is just right and the prices are reasonable. Our server had an awesome personality and loved to chat with us. There are beautiful views in the back. There is an outdoor patio area and there is a screened in porch (where we sat at). There is also an indoor area. I had some delicious meatballs and my wife had a chicken Philly-cheese-stake type sandwich (which she loved). They have beer on tap and it is ice cold. We really enjoyed stopping here and will come by many times in the future!

5 stars all around! It has a wonderful atmosphere that is great for everyone. They dont have a kids menu but do have options to accommodate for children. Plenty of seating options from the exposed deck, screened in porch, to inside dining. The food was SUPER good. Im not usually one to pick apart the details of my order but I wont lie im VERY impressed with the Rich’s Serlion sandwich. Its definitely worth the stop!

Views are amazing! Menu was short but stacked with good choices. I hate when a place has too many items … Twisted Spoke had just the right amount. Outdoor seating was great and dog friendly. Service was awesome and prices were phenomenal. Will definitely return

Headed up Hwy. 19 to Twisted Spoke. We were greeted and seated on the porch. The view was beautiful and we even had the opportunity to see an elk go by. We had the lobster roll and Italian sausage roll along with the onion rings as a side. Our meal was delicious and our waitress was sweet and attentive to our needs.

Read some of the reviews and just had to give it a try. My husband and I were impressed with the quality of food. All made from scratch by Mike the owner. The husband had the meatball sub and loved it. I choose the lobster salad with a side of the garlic aioli for the fries that we split. We are from out of town, but will definitely go back when we return to Maggie Valley. PS The outdoor seating and views are magical! They also have a pool table.

Really surprising gem hidden away in Maggie Valley. The restaurant is really nice, kept well, and has an incredible view over the mountains. All the food is house-made and this is obvious in quality and taste. Weekly specials add surprising variation. You’ll be disappointed if you drive by and don’t stop for the food, the service, and the views.

Always great to have lunch there. Servers are so friendly & attentive and work very hard. They are always going from table to table. I had the Greek Chicken quesadilla- delicious. I really hope they put this on the regular menu. If they don’t have, ask if they can make it. Their meatballs are their signature dish and so good, homemade sauce. The views are great & when they have music, it’s low enough to hear each other talking at the tables. The owner is very friendly & is always helping out. We’ve brought several new people there this summer and they all talk highly of this restaurant. 5☆ +

We tripped across this while looking for lunch options near the Blue Ridge. We were really pleased! Plenty of parking, friendly staff, good food & large portions.
If we ever get back to the area we would absolutely stop here again.
