We came here for brunch as a group of 3 and the food did not disappoint! Portions were extremely generous – sharing a single apple pancake, chicken sando, and beef pie was more than enough. Service was also attentive, but they were strangely rushing us throughout our entire meal. We stayed here for about 1 hour, which is within their time limit, but our table was cleared after 45 minutes, and the whole experience just felt extremely uncomfortable towards the end. Maybe this just happened to be an especially busy day, but this does not excuse rushing customers when their food is clearly not finished.

This place is delightful.

The food is really delicious and well executed. We ordered several dishes to share including the beef pie which I thought was good. Standouts for me were the potato mille-feuille (the sauce was one of the highlights of the night) and the Hokkaido somen (the dish I wish I didn’t have to share).

We split two desserts – the panna cotta and banana sundae. That sundae was mind-blowingly good. There was no reason that it should be that good, but it was unanimously our favorite.

Service was outstanding and the restaurant was understated and lovely.

This was a fun place to meet friends for dinner. I like the atmosphere and energy and appreciated the kindness and generosity of the staff. The food was presented very nicely and looked like it had been cooked with care. Unfortunately, with the exception of the pot pie, the other dishes were under seasoned.

Cute little restaurant in Greenpoint! A group of us 3 were here on a Wed night and shared everything:

– Hokkadio milk bread
– Fuyu burrata
– Bone marrow tartare
– Miso black cod
– Snow crab udon
– Duck
– Lingo beef pie
– Squash and sage rice

Everything was plated beautifully and tasted great. The beef pie could definitely use a side of rice since it’s pretty rich and savory.

Service was great and super attentive throughout the night. This is definitely on the pricier side though, given the portion sizes. We each got one drink (1 being a yuzu soda), and total after tax & tip came out to $320ish. I’d definitely come back to check out their brunch menu.

A perfect experience from start to finish. The cod was cooked to perfection and the potato Mille-feuille was a superb side dish we got at the suggestion of our excellent waiter! A great date night option for some high end Japanese comfort food

Overall, the dining experience was quite average. The seating area felt very cramped, with tables placed too close to each other, leaving almost no privacy. The table itself was also very small, making it uncomfortable once a few dishes were served.
The coffee came with sugar and milk, but no spoon was provided to stir it, which felt like a basic detail that was overlooked.
As for the food, most of it seemed pre-made rather than freshly prepared. The milk bread was not served warm, which was disappointing. The dishes were okay, but nothing particularly memorable.

The beef pie (not pictured because we ate that in like ten seconds) is absolutely scrumptious, however the rest of the dishes were nothing to really write home about (though they didn’t taste bad at all). Like someone said, not the best Japanese fusion place but I definitely think their beef pie is worth a visit.

Otherwise servers were very nice, atmosphere however didn’t feel very Japanese at all for a Japanese fusion restaurant lol

First time visit with friends and it was wonderful. Service was amazing! The space was beautiful! And I’m confused about the not so great reviews because everything we ate was delicious. I went with 3 other friends and we shared a few plates and everything was fantastic. It was a quiet Wednesday evening so I don’t know if that mattered compared to visiting during a weekend or busy brunch hour. But definitely would recommend!
