Fun spot in the burbs! Cute interior with fun decor. Sat at the bar and got great service! Food was delicious. They had live music which added to the upbeat atmosphere. Can’t wait to return!!

Food: Salmon with risotto. Very tasty and the salmon was cooked perfectly.
Drinks: Had both the pear and peach margaritas and they were incredible!

Went here for my birthday and it was so good! We had a reservation and still waited about 10 minutes, but the place was packed so it was understandable. The food was amazing, we had quite a few appetizers and they were all delicious. Also, the service was still really good even with how busy it was. I’d definitely go back!

I went with my wife to try Il Mio in Clarendon Hills after seeing the good reviews and pictures, so we made a reservation. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, very clean, and has a warm vibe that sets the mood right away. Our waitress was sweet, patient, and knowledgeable, answering all our questions with ease. We started with drinks—I ordered the Italian old fashioned which was smooth and balanced, while the bourbon smash leaned too sour for my taste, but when I asked to switch it back to an old fashioned, the waitress gladly made it happen without any fuss. For appetizers we tried the whipped ricotta and the prosciutto burrata; the burrata felt pretty average, but the ricotta was noticeably better, especially after we asked for some extra honey that elevated the flavor. For mains, I had the short rib ragu pasta with roasted Brussels sprouts, and my wife went with the shrimp diavolo paired with beans, but unfortunately the food overall felt very average with no wow factor, and my wife in particular didn’t enjoy her dish at all. The service, while friendly, was also very slow, which may have been because it was a Friday night, but it added to the letdown since we weren’t impressed with the food. We decided to skip dessert altogether and wrap up. Overall, Il Mio shines in ambiance and hospitality, but our experience with the food and pacing left us underwhelmed.

We had the most wonderful experience hosting my daughter’s baby shower at this restaurant! From start to finish, Taeya, the event coordinator, was incredibly attentive and organized—always on top of every detail throughout the planning process and on the day of the event. The communication was excellent, and they made everything feel effortless for us.
The food was absolutely outstanding; our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was.

Thank you for helping make such a special day truly perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant and their team for any event—you won’t be disappointed!

I have visited three times and have enjoyed all three visits. the last visit, our entrees were forgotten which we noticed after 1 hour as we were enjoying our night. Our server was apologetic, mistakes happen she was an excellent server., however there was no apology or credit from any manager. In fact there didn’t seem to be a manager on duty all night. the Espresso martini was waterery and sugary. The veal lacked seasoning. I hope my next visit is better. While no fault of there own, there are ALWAYs young children in this restaurant, which can affect the experience if you are looking for a date night or a true culinary experience as I see the kids eating plates of fries. Perhaps an identity check is needed! they did lt us stay after closing. I would probably recommend Taurisi in Westmont for more authentic Italian.
Also there is NO Music at all and two HUGE tvs at the bar!
Not very authentic.!

A 5 star experience for the western suburbs casual Italian dining scene. Menu has great variety without being overwhelming. Dishes are post-inflation comparable with sharables trending to the high side, but … the food quality is awesome. Drink prices (esp. wine) are higher than I like to see but…many of the cocktails are unique for the area

Early reservation (5pm) was no problem to book (morning of) on a beautiful summer evening. The building faces east so the sun was no bother for al fresco dining.

We had Mixed Grill [seafood](very good. Char flavor was a bit too prominent and could be offset with a little bolder flavor in the vinaigrette), Pappardelle w/ Short Rib Ragu & Cacio e Pepe (added grilled chicken) were both very good. Portions were adequately filling. Ended by splitting a Lava Flourless Chocolate Cake that comes with Vanilla ice cream/ whipped cream/ strawberries/ blueberries on side (delicious).
[Note: if you are a bread & olive oil lover, this restaurant does not serve it. Not a drawback as it leaves room for a good desert. ]

This was a lovely find. We are gluten free and needed an Italian restaurant close to the escape room. Food was delicious, they were knowledgeable about gf. The gf pasta was good, can only get rigotoni. I had the skirt steak special, I love my meat blue rare. They made a perfect steak that was fabulous. I only sampled the gf pasta. I will be going back.

My family is beyond grateful to Rich Ciota and his incredible team for ensuring that our daughter’s bridal shower was pure perfection! Our friends and family could not stop gushing about the fabulous food, gorgeous venue, ambience and customer service. The waitstaff and bartenders could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Thank you, Rich, for your excellent communication, guidance in planning, attention to detail and kindness throughout. We always felt like we were in great hands!! I highly recommend Il Mio for showers, rehearsal dinners, brunches, or any special event!!

Overall an average dining experience while visiting the area for business. Ordered the arancini to start and they were fine though rice was overcooked. Was really looking forward to the pasta dish but the pesto burrata pasta I ordered was really underwhelming and completely drowning in oil to the point where I almost sent it back. I ordered pasta not soup. The tiramisu for dessert was the best part of the whole meal. Overall not the worst Italian restaurant I’ve been too but probably won’t be stopping in again.
