The speed, friendliness, and attentiveness of the staff was excellent. Quickly got my drink order and drinks on the table within just a few minutes of me being seated. My server was at my table making sure everything was ok and asking if I was ready to order within a few minutes of that. The food came out quickly, was hot, and looked great. It tasted excellent. I didn’t need salt, pepper, or anything else to season it. Except some syrup for my pancake. I definitely recommend eating here.

Just went here recently and it’s pretty good. There a decent variety of food to chose from but I went with the jacobo steak skillet. Service and prices are good, the best way to describe the vibes here is Mexican black bear diner. I would say go check it out.

If you’re looking for a place in Reno that offers both Mexican and American favorites under one roof, this spot is a must-visit! The menu is packed with options—from salads to burgers, huevos rancheros and hearty breakfast plates.

What really stood out was the top-notch service. The staff was friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming—making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Great food, generous portions, and a menu that covers all cravings—definitely a go-to when you’re in town!

This was my first time at Jack’s. I was extremely impressed with the food and the service. The staff were very friendly and personable.

I honestly wanted to order more but they give you so much food that I was stuffed. I will definitely be going back for breakfast again and for lunch.

Thank you for having such a great place to go to eat and a great staff!

The best place to eat breakfast this is my husband and I go to place. Everytime we go, we get the same experience. Everyone is friendly, the food is always good, my coffee cup never sees the bottom, and my food is in my hands within 10 minutes or less. Pancakes, french toast, waffles and crepes are so soft and tasty. The country fried steak, chilaquilles, burgers are flavorful and my husbands favorite. And dont get me started on the scones with honey or berries. The price and portions are so reasonable too. DO NOT PASS ON THIS PLACE. You’ll wish you went in

The people here are great and the food is delicious! We had a patty melt and a Jack’s burger, house salad, and the best onion rings on Nevada! This is a great place for lunch.

The new location is just as good, still serving great food and the best chilaquiles in Reno.

I recently took my family out for breakfast to celebrate my recent marriage, hoping to enjoy a nice meal together. We chose this place based on fond memories from my childhood, but our experience was far from what I remembered.

Upon entering, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which initially set a positive tone. My wife ordered chocolate chip pancakes, expecting a hearty serving, but what arrived was a disappointing plate with just a sprinkle of chocolate chips on top of whipped cream for $4. That felt like a letdown right from the start.

As we enjoyed our drinks, we received the bill midway through our meal. To our shock, we found that we had spent nearly $20 on just two coffees and some kids’ juices. The pricing felt excessive for what we received, leaving us feeling scammed and frustrated.

Overall, the experience left a sour taste in my mouth and completely ruined my appetite. It’s disheartening to say, but I don’t think I’ll be returning to a place that I once loved. I hope they can reevaluate their pricing and portion sizes, as this could be a lovely spot again if improvements are made.

Had a wonderful breakfast at Jack’s. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Even though there was a little wait, they got people seated pretty quickly. I would suggest giving it a try.
