The Hostess, and food runner were nice. The server was nice but not very attentive. The food was bland. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla. It was tasteless. My husband got a couple steak tacos and that was bland. We used the salsa for sauce and extra flavor on our food. The only thing I liked was the music. I’ll just keep eating at El Arena taco shop. There food is much better.

I’ve been driving by this restaurant for years and decided to stop in! It will now be a staple for my family! A fun, relaxed atmosphere with friendly and very quick staff/service; Amber was our server and was one of the most personable ones I’ve ever encountered. Pictured here is the Arroz Con Pollo that could be the most delicious Mexican dish I’ve ever tasted…marinated chicken on a bed of rice, bacon, pineapple, onion, corn and cheese sauce served with tortillas. Their salsa is homemade and queso has a hint of jalapeño…margaritas delish!

This is one of THE BEST Mexican restaurants in Toledo. The food and service were both outstanding! The food came out quickly and fresh.
Their salsa is delicious. The guacamole was better than the places that make it in front of you. The avocado is chunky instead of mashed. Their bean dip is AMAZING. Its covered in queso (what’s better than that?)!
I had the fiesta sampler. The quesadilla had SO MUCH chicken, and the chicken was spread throughout the quesadilla, not just one spot. The Chimichanga was so tasty! Nice and crunchy on the outside, the beef tips inside were so flavorful!
All of my food, and my families food, had excellent flavor. We will definitely be returning!

Burritos are delicious!!! Very good food! Salsa is always fresh ! Chorizo Queso is the best! Highly recommend! They have three different kinds of salsa, be sure to ask for the Verde salsa!

Fajitas Rancheras were very good. We loved how they were NOT greasy, it was more meat, chicken, chorizo, and shrimp than vegetables. Which was amazing because we have gone to other restaurants where the fajitas are greasy and it’s more vegetables than meat! The chorizo was really good, it seemed as if it was “homemade” because of the size and color. It was delicious!
Chile rellenos were really good. They are served a bit different. In Mexico they are stuffed with queso fresco or ground beef. Here at El Nuevo Vallarta, they are stuffed with Monterrey cheese or Mozzarella, and then they are topped with your choice of meat (ground beef or chicken). They were pretty good and the serving is so big, you can definitely share with your loved one!
Both meals were generously served and delicious.
I recommend you stop here y si eres mexicano y te gusta lo picoso, pide salsa habanera, está rica! Y te va a gustar la música!

Cute spot with great Mexican food. Tons of options to choose from. I particularly loved the cod tacos. Love the decor and staff were friendly and service was good.

I ordered El Tapitio. See the pic! What can I say EVERYTHING was excellent. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. The chorizo kn top was some of the best I’ve ever had. The guacamole and the rice were stars too. Every component to this dish was great by itself and great with the each other. Wow. This place is a don’t miss!
