So I went for lunch, first visit, and surprise its an old Golden Corral that was repurposed. It’s clean and well decorated, made a nice first impression. There is a huge selection of buffet, an excellent hibachi station, and a sushi ststion that looked great but I don’t like sushi.
It was moderately busy and they kept everything fresh, and the quality was pretty good… especially for a buffet. A really tastey variety of dishes, proteins, fruits and deserts… even a full table of assorted non-chinese food.
I pigged out, paid up, left happy, and took a big nap. You know I’m coming back, and next time I’m bringing friends! In the meantime here’s a few pictures of desert.
They keep the food rotating quickly, so it’s always fresh, and there’s a wide selection.
The restroom was spotless as well.”
One of the best parts for me was the oysters. They had oysters for days, and they were amazing! Fresh, flavorful, and definitely a highlight. There was such a great variety overall, from hearty entrees to tasty desserts.
The staff was awesome too. Really attentive and on top of things, clearing tables quickly and making sure everyone had what they needed. Plus, the prices are super reasonable, especially for the quality and selection.
I’m so glad they’re in the area, and I’m already looking forward to making it a weekly spot. Definitely worth checking out!
[“Update: Last week I mentioned how Super Golden Buffet was still rocking a ‘Grand Opening’ banner months later. This week? The banner is gone. Not saying I had anything to do with it… but I’m also not saying I didn’t. ”]
It’s all love though — food’s solid. You’ve got sushi, hibachi, ice cream, Chinese donuts, pudding, fried chicken, pizza, and, of course, “most” of the Chinese favorites and much more. But seriously… where’s the orange chicken? The bourbon chicken?
Surprise twist: you’ve actually got a few low-cal and keto-friendly options too. Respect.
Not the best food I’ve ever had, but it’s satisfying.
$6.99/lb for takeout or $13.99 dine-in. That’s still better than Chick-fil-A charging $15 for one sandwich, fries, and a Coke. Pfft. Get that outta here.
Crab is still awesome, not too salty, but some of the other items are questionable. The egg drop soup at this location was not hot for some reason. Strange because the Lawrenceville one is super hot.
All in all. Great buffet and great price to feed large families and kids!
I tried this place for first time tonight and everything was pretty good! There wasn’t anything i had that I did not enjoy. They have a large selection of foods like your usual Chinese food buffet items, a sushi bar and a hibachi bar where they make your food fresh. Which the sushi was actually really good and had a decent selection! My husband and I have been trying to find a new Chinese food place forever now, but we just found our new spot i give it a 4.3 stars instead of 5 because the food was nothing out of this world delicious, but your average good, tasty American Chinese food. I would recommend giving it a try.
